Holy ****ing cow, I don't know if he could spend it if he wanted to.

It would seem out of order for him to use much, though.

He could nearly get Ronaldinho for that. I reckon with 70mil he could buy 3 world class players.

BUT....with the way Arsenal are playing at the minute he doesn't need it.

It would do more harm than good; he's got to stick to his recent strategy.

But this is not good news for the rest of the league

It's ****in ****e news, that's what it is.
I'm spurs thru and thru, and while it pains me to say what a great side they are, it pisses me off big time. If only Wenger and Fabregas had left in the summer. If only Abramovich hadn't bought the other scummy team from London. We might actually have been somewhere by now. I know I'm just a jealous old fool. I want my TOTTENHAM back. Fanbase wise we are still the biggest team in London. If only the ****in council would give us permission to build our stadium up.

Thank god we are building our Stadium.

I doubt Wenger will spend big as his team are looking brilliant at the minute, he could however buy one or two big names to enhance the squad.

The Premiership is just becoming bigger and bigger, even the small teams are spending big.

He needs to buy cover in the defense; If Toure were to get injured he'd have a serious problem. But Benitez is looking also for defenders and still has (correct me, Micky) 25m or so left, so they could have a conflict at some point.

Apart from that Arsenal are stacked with young attacking players mixed with veterans like Hleb and Rosicky; if he buys he doesn't develop Walcott and such

Yes pal, its the only area we lack good depth so I can see one or two coming in around January.

Diego Placente is the name being touted as well as Roma winger Alessandro Mancini.

And bizzarely this will ultimately be it's downfall.

Most supported teams in the country, going on who people say their favourite teams is, not just the one's that go to the games.

1. Man U - way ahead
2. Liverpool -
3. Tottenham - quite a way behind top 2
4. Arsenal - just behind spurs, but catching up
5. Newcastle - one team city, quite a few fans outside too
6. Man City - most supported in manchester
7. Everton
8. Villa
9. West Ham - used to be a lot higher
10.Leeds / Chelsea - nothing between them, the info i read was two years old so maybe chelsea have more than leeds now. but leeds still have plenty of fans coming to see them in 3rd tier, chelsea's ground half empty for last home match.

To the cat who said it would be the league's downfall, please explain.

Do you mean just four team are getting all the money and top players? Too few domestic players? What's up?

The only thing that disturbs me right now about the EPL is that Derby is in it

Arsenal is the biggest team in London with Tottenham a long way behind and Chelsea even further. You are living in la-la land if you think Spuds have a bigger fanbase than Arsenal.

Fanbase wise, it goes like this.

1.Man Utd
2.Liverpool
3.Arsenal

But Arsenal are the biggest team in London fullstop.

When I say it's popularity will be its downfall what I mean is that the amount of money now circulating the Premiership will kill it. For instance, FOREIGN business men walzing in and taking over the club of their choice. Villa, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Portsmouth etc etc. Only more clubs will be added to that list, including my beloved Arsenal and it turns my stomach to think a Russian could by us out and do what he liked with my club.

That's basically (in a short paragraph) why I think the heart will be ripped out of the Premiership, causing its downfall.

Wenger will spend it wise investing in the words best youngsters and nurture them to his way of playing football.
Paying big money for big names brings big egos and unrest.
Wenger is a Legend. Offer Him The England Job.

BTW Spurs a big club. Your having a laugh, Spurs are nothin.
Big Club = European Cups.

Haven't clue what numbers you bring to Cheltenham, Doncaster and all those other back of beyond **** holes in that league but Spurs has one of the best away followings in the country so **** knows what you're going on about with that statement?

Enjoy Yeovil on Saturday.
