Shit it even made the front page of Yank websites (football rarely does that).

Bad move by the club if they forced it; sure he hasn't been all gold this year, but who are they going to find that's better for a club with money?

Personally i dont think they will sign their long term guy just yet, i have a very good idea of where Jose Mourinho will end up, and im very happy about it if im right, i will let you guys know if the deal is on.

Fabio Capello to chelsea, or he may be headed where i think Mournho could possibly end up.

But i believe capello will be top of their shortlist, and they have a great chance of getting him, which is good, cos i cant stand capello anyways.

Possibly Lippi also, but im still hoping he will come back to juve.

According to Sky News this morning Jürgen Klinsmann is a hot favourite?

Apparently its around the business dealings going on in the States and the contacts he has there?

Seems a strange one to me.

So where do you think Mourinho will end up? You said you'll let us know if the deal is on. Does that mean you have a source high up somewhere? I've said for a few weeks now, if he don't go to Barca or Real if could end up at Tottenham. I'd be gutted for Jol if he is sacked, but if replaced by someone like Mourinho well we'd have to be happy with that.

Jesus that's a shocker. I didn't particularly like him but I will miss his presence.

I dont have any source, and dont know much more than you guys, I have ALWAYS said mournho will sign for this club and that he would leave chelsea at the end of this year, this club reportedly offered him £5 million a year to join, but i could be wrong, no one has mentioned them yet, its a club you all know, not in england,

It might never happen, if the rumors start again, ill fill you in,

To be honest it depends if Jose Mourinho wants to go straight back into management, but i can tell you right now, the chances of him joining real are slim in my eyes, they really wanted schuster and they gonna give him a chance, if Ryjkaard leaves barca it would be for milan most likely, which has been on the cards for years, i dont think Jose would go to Barca anyways, but its all talk for now, if the rumors start, ill let you guys know, till then then, no one knows.

The games have begun, according to the Radio, Houllier has now been added to the list.

I cant see it personally, although very successful he left Lyon originally through ill health and I cant see him stepping into the melting pot again, also he did well in the cups over here but poorly in the PL so....

According to sky he will take a postion at the portuguse FA.

Which means he wont jump into management right away, so he could move anywhere to be honest.

I think there is a slim chance of him joining Tottenham, however 2 other teams look quite likely. Inter who he reportedely wanted to join last year, and Valencia who have a lot of money to spend. Also wouldn't rule out Juve my favourite Italian side, could give them a real big push forward this season if that happens. Is that the team you were on about Technical because you said you'd be very happy if what you think could happen does. I take it you are a Juve fan or did I misread one of your posts.

I think he jumped before he was pushed.

Congratualations, thats the mystery club i was talking about earlier, apparently he wanted to go there when he was offered 5 million a year, inter lost last night and things are not good, thats where i think he will be next year.

You win my respect for actually knowing a bit about football, which hasnt been extended to everyone on this forum, lol. your pick of Juve was also spot on, they want Lampard big time and have been linked to mourinho also.

Whatever happens, i think it will be Italy or Spain for him next, he's a great coach and i would love it if he was able to come and manage one of my teams.

I'm glad you think so, but not in Motor Racing though. We are still gonna disagree on you know what and I don't think either of us will change each other's minds on that one. But no reason to fall out, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just hope Button gets a chance to prove himself in a top team, and then if he doesn't come up to scratch, I'll eat humble pie. If he was in the same team as Alonso, I'm not saying he would beat him, but he would keep him honest just as Hamilton has.

P.S Are you watching the Tottenham game tonight

i think mourhino has been headed toward the exit door ever since the Ballack and Schevchenko signings, which he didnt really want but Abramovich bought them anyways. I dont see Chelsea doing better than 3rd in the league now and maybe champs league quarterfinals at best.

I couldn't agree more, he was made to play players he didn't want then decided not to play them thus upsetting Abramovich.

I can see him moving to the likes of Juventus closely followed by Terry, Lampard and Drogba.

By way of a news flash, Sven Goran Erikson went missing today at City?

Could he would he leave City so soon for Chelsea?

yeah sometimes this stuff needs patience but Roman is not not that patient.

look at Alex Ferguson he is the greatest coach that ever stepped in the football.

But Mouriho is one of the best coach and he is still young for the coach. He got so much to prove and I think he is one of those guy who could take the torch from Alex Ferguson.

It's a game at Man Utd for Chelsea on Sunday. Football being the strange wonder that it is, I wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea got a win/draw up there.
