i said it before and i'll say it again:
keep the tribal and url SEPARATE.

i love the fades and texture but think it would look WAY better in red with a black backround. also, switch the fade so that it is a bright red at the BOTTOM and fades to black on the top- that way it gives a "dipped in blood" effect, which is perfect for a knife-blade looking tribal.

i say it looks good. the only thing i disagree with is the url and the tribal being together. also, i think maybe later we do it in red coz right now it is the color of the site. .COM, not the 2 dildos that said RED coz that is the effect they chose for their viewing in the forums.

THE FORUM = NOTHING
.COM = EVERYTHING.

we have people that view our .com in blue (coz thats they way it is), and we have people that veiw our boards in BLUE coz that is the default color (of .com). Alot of people would be more likely to notice BLUE if they have heard of us or checked us out once or twice before.

i say leave it at blue for now and later get red when we are ready to put options out there. but until then..... blue is the color of the site and makes more sense to make them blue while we are still trying to get recognized. sure the "blood red" effect would look bad ass... but are we trying to look bad ass or trying to get recognized and be just as bad ass? both the colors are great colors, but which one makes more sense to print as our 1st batch?

I think it looks good. I can understand both Tony and Adam on why the like the different colors. Red would be awesome, but Adam's right when he's talking about the way .com looks with the color scheme and all.

Tony, when you say keep the URL seperate from the tribal, do you mean putting one on the front, one on the back, or what?

Overall, guys, I like the way it looks.

i dont think that would look good. i mean you can **** wit it and see what it looks like... but we need to stay on one scheme and design. dunno though, never know till we see what it would looks like, i guess. personally i dont think that would look good.

bella- yes, that is what tony means. i agree with that. i think one on one side and one on the other.

i can throw in a button so you can change the way it looks, not a hard thing to do.

i didn't recommend doing it in red because of my forum settings. i recommended it because of what i stated in my reply.

i understand that the .com is in blue. and i've also expressed that i think that it is a lame-ass color to put it in. i'm sorry but when i think of nhb fighting.....baby blue is just NOT the color that pops in my mind. blue has NOTHING to do with anything in the sport, let alone BABY ****ing blue! at least the red can symbolize blood- put that with a black backround and then it gives a more dark/brutal approach overall.

and it IS possible to LOOK bad ass, while being recognized as so. i don't see how changing it to red would not allow us to be recognized. even IF we leave the .com to blue, all it's gonna do is slightly and temporarily confuse someone when they are visiting a blue site that they went to by seeing or wearing a red shirt. WHOPTY ****ING DO!!!
i think if the shirt looks more bad ass
then more people recognize it
therefore more people read it
therefore more people come to the site!
i think it's more worth it to get more traffic to the site and have them ponder for half a second on why the site's blue and their shirt is red. trust me, they won't ****ing care.

i've also sold a lot of shirts in that color scheme and have had tons of compliments on it. yet never one single suggestion for blue ink.
not to mention, i recall a poll being taken a few weeks back and seeing that most posters had bloodshed for their forum settings.

i say change it all to red. either that or keep the texture that dave put on it and just make it a white on black print. that would be cool cause it could give a "ghosted" effect.

I voted no. For 2 reasons basically, I don't think the color is terrible, but I'd like to see it in red just to decide what I like better. I think the .com site appears to be too dark with the light blue and the dark background.

Reason no. 2, is that on the back of a tshirt, the logo will look lopsided the way that it is. Most tshirts with a large graphic on the back, the graphic is centered giving it a symmetrical look. I agree with dogg and tony, put globalmma.com on the front and the logo on the back, and you could probably put globalmma.com above or below in smaller font size, I'd prefer above, just below the neck.

Here's a novel concept -- why not try both colors and see how it turns out? I mean we're debating the subject for one, no harm done it seeing how two color schemes goes.

Two, there's no reason to say why you can't have both and then let the consumer decide.

I can appreciate what you're saying Adam, totally (even though I don't understand how you can't like red when this whole site is about a bloodsport essentially) but I'm just a big believer in consumer choices.

For that reason I didn't vote. But I think it looks ok. I say play around with the designs, find several that you all like, then put them to the test on here.

Red sucks. I love the cool ice blue thing. Just my honest opinion. Of course I'll buy one. The shirts are cool but I must say that I would prefer a machine style industrial mojo over the tribal. I wouldn't say that tribal is tired or played out, but it is a bit used.

probably not. in that arena, it's best just to get patches sewn on to sponsor fighters. it would be at least a couple years before we can expand into shorts and gear.
