Mate you can lift about as much as I can, if not more on bench!
Whats the problem?

LukeDothSucketh 03-24-2003, 03:09 PM I'd like to see some of the beasts step up here...
VulgarTheClown 03-24-2003, 03:12 PM i put 225 up 1 time last week. but i'm commin down with a cold and i aint breathin to good so i don't think i'm puttin it up any time thie week let alone more.
I'll do it Jake, if its pound for pound, cause i am a lot lighter than you guys, i'm 175. i bench 255 for 1rep/ dead 325 1rp...i don't like to squat but i have to start again. so i dunno how much i can squat right now
wondermut 03-24-2003, 06:13 PM If Kimura reads this he'll get wood.
The Jake 03-24-2003, 09:04 PM Pound for pound, I'll get owned.
I weigh 220-230atm.
I do my next heavy day tomorrow.
Current records:
Current bench: 330 x 1
Current dead: 400 x 2
Current squat: 400 x 4
All those are at their peak, except for bench where I did 330 x 3.

handjobs4dollars 03-24-2003, 09:07 PM I suck at lifting. I have to be mad or fighting for my retard strenght to work.
Jake, you are still pretty strong bro..
JasonLeonardOBE 03-24-2003, 09:51 PM No one can touch me on cable hamstring leg curls.

Mine aren't.
But I'll also take on anyone on reverse roman chair glute raises.
Reprazent.
i can bench ****en 60 kg's, im huge
seldomTap 03-25-2003, 01:18 AM I currently weigh 242.
My best ever bench was 415 for 3 reps....letely, it is closer to 330.
Pound for pound, Kimura would rock a lot of us apparently
hey hey dont forget my lift of 60kgs
VulgarTheClown 03-25-2003, 03:16 AM Kimura is huge?
I was told he was a little ****in Bruce Lee wanna be.
The Jake 03-25-2003, 06:39 AM Pound for pound meaning the measure of your strength based upon how much you lift in proportion divided by your weight.
The higher the ratio, the higher your strength.
Which is why big (200+lbs) guys who bench 350 lbs may not be as impressive as a 150lb guy who can bench 300.
- The Jake
JasonLeonardOBE 03-25-2003, 07:02 AM Anyone see that little 150 pound polish guy with a 765lbs squat?
Don't remember his name.
seldomTap 03-25-2003, 07:25 AM Magic man?
JasonLeonardOBE 03-25-2003, 08:12 AM LMAO no this guy looks genuinely polish Seldom.
ArjukanpoKarate 03-25-2003, 03:50 PM Awwww you guys are doing man stuff, how cute...
The Jake 03-25-2003, 05:21 PM Women could participate. Women with a higher pound for pound strength comp would be interesting because they could beat men potentially.
JLOBE, can't say I've seen anyone that size attempt it.
- The Jake
JasonLeonardOBE 03-25-2003, 07:47 PM Found it.
Jaroslaw Ollech at a bdwt of 66.9kg in 2002. It doesn't say 765lbs but there are 7 plates a side plus the olympic bar so...

On the website go to "pictures", "men's open 2002" and scroll down to "67.5" category then click on "squat".

Kempo Chris 03-25-2003, 10:42 PM last time i maxedon bench i did 205, but that was over a year ago
I dont lift too much- I weigh 135 lbs
JasonLeonardOBE 03-28-2003, 07:46 AM Ok I just maxed out on Hindu Squats today.
This competition is over before it began.
DOGGx0 04-22-2003, 02:33 PM post the details, Jake.
The Jake 04-22-2003, 04:50 PM I read about some 15 year old who squatted 750 yesterday... that's just wrong.

The Jake 05-03-2003, 12:00 PM Dude you could quite possible win... get back into weights man!
- The Jake
lightweight 05-05-2003, 11:43 PM Bench=1.57x body weight for 4 reps.
Magic Man 05-06-2003, 10:38 AM how much do you weigh LW?
lightweight 05-06-2003, 12:42 PM Oh man, don't make me say that, I'm a skinny fokker.
Tha Playa 05-27-2003, 11:04 AM I weigh about 190-195, varies day to day. I bench 275x 4 and 295 x 2 for my last heavy sets. I'm guessing my max is around 325 about now.
skyboat 06-05-2003, 01:45 AM If its the three lift total that your interested in comparing in why not use Wilks points rather than bw?
Also Jake, Olech put up 330kg in the 2002 IPF mens worlds, sadly Sivokon wasnt able to compete though
skyboat 06-05-2003, 01:53 AM Oh and Tom two guy have now put up 1100+lb in competition(although the lifts were off monos), Brent Mikesells and Steve Goggins. Goggins put up 500kg(1102.3lb) at a bw of about 265, and Mikesells put up 500.5kg(1103.4lb) at a bw of around 330.
Mikesells used a DP canvas whilst Goggins lift was in a BOSS poly.
skyboat 06-06-2003, 11:10 AM true but i would love to see them do it without a mono.
