a source have told me that it is 100 percent that Pac will lose this fight to pursue a trilogy between him and barrera. the reasons were pretty obvious. GBP and TRP will get better purse out of it. Pac & MAB will get more from it too and it will also give more hype and entertainment since boxing doesn't have exciting fights left due to the rising of the mma sport. i feel bad about this since i am a big pacfan. well i guess some heroes doesnt really turn out to be a good guy all the time.

Possible but not probable. I don't think that a trilogy with barrera will sell like the trilogy with Morales. Pacquaio won impressively on the first fight so a trilogy is not that attractive.

I agree. Pacquiao can make more money if he wins. He goes on to take Marquez, De Guzman, Valero, Soto, The Diaz's and so on & so forth. And he knows that. Pacquaio cant lose to Barrera without losing his credibility, coz its going to be too obvious. And he knows that. Pacquiao cannot make more money in a third fight with Marco. And he knows that. Marco will retire whether he wins or lose. And Pacquiao knows that. Pac-Barrera II will be a closure. Period.

Pacquiao would not betray the Filipinos by taking a dive.

Pac wouldn't do this. He's got millions of dollars already, so why should he take a loss? Unless he's spent all his money already.

well i hope so guys. i know that he has still more opponents to beat. i hope that he wouldn't do that. honestly i want him to fight JMM and beat the **** out of him instead of barrera. also i want to see him fight Soto to avenge his bro. sana nga di niya gawin to. panalangin nalang natin na sana manalo siya pero ilang beses na akong nananaginip na matatalo siya. :ugh:

pacquiao knows that to keep his popularity and money coming in ...

he must win his fights, i really dont think "one step backward and two steps forward" will work for him ...

If heavens forbid, :nono: Manny gets blinded by the possibility of a trilogy and takes a dive, that will be the beginning of the end for him. Of course, there's still the possibility of a loss by Manny but let it be because MAB fights better, not because Manny takes a deliberate dive.

Manny should realize that big money fights will continue to be offered if he remains as exciting as he has always been. :boxing:

Pacman, tapusin mo na ang paghihirap ni Barrera, and let the other pretenders line up!
