Some thing in shadowboxing make you feel you are like super man but in real life fighting there is It is more you have to imagine it.
- Distance between you and you oppenets
- Handspeed is very quick during shadow boxing but you get more tired if you punch a heavybag
-power
- countering

Maybe his hands are skinny enough that he can tape the gloves once and just slip his hands in when he needs to.

Ok what I relize from training to box the last 3 weeks. Is that alot of these boxers get relly damn skinny with like no muscle. And then my trainer tells me not to lift weights. BULLS SHIT! I dont wana wind up lookin like that. I can loose some fat but ill keep my muscle.

FALSE!! You get more tired punching thin air then a punching bag. Where the hell did you get this idea??? I can hit the heavy bag for a very long time!! Shadow Boxing to me is like fighting an imaginary opponent PRETTY MUCH! You have to use your Footwork, Head Weave, Throw Punches and THINK!! That my friend will Out-Work you way more then punching the bag.

Well I dont live anywhere near you but If I ever make it up there I would be glad to teach you proper technique, form, balance, and head movment because you are definately lacking in all of those departments... Sorry to tell you but you have a ton to work on.

Have you ever had an amatuer fight or for that matter any real training??

Brian, you're welcome to drop by any gym in Seattle, any time, if you're looking for someone to spar with. Bumble Bee is open from 6-9 every night; it's an easy ferry ride to downtown. Cappy's has martial-arts-type classes with open sparring afterwards; the shape you appear to be in, though, the class might leave you in less-than-fighting condition. No offense. Also, check out Summit Boxing Club in Puyallup; their coach is hardcore. Closer to you, the Tacoma Boxing Club is world class. Ring Sports in Bellevue is a VERY nice facility.

You've got to put the effort out there, though. I live in Gig Harbor but I train in Seattle. And on that, I've got to get out of here.

206Boxing is on this board. He wanted to meet you at his gym, as I would. Although it would be extremely unpleasant for anyone at your size and experience level to fight me, I would gladly work with you within the confines of a formal boxing gym.

I don't box, or even spar, outside of a ring. Period. No respectable boxer will.

Go to a gym. Anyone, at any gym, will help you. That's what boxing gyms are for. You can do what I do: go a couple times a week and spend the rest of the week working on what you're taught. It works.

Alright, I really have to get going. Immense peace.

Well good luck and just some advice, dont act like you are too tough bc your not and dont act like you have extensive training when you dont. Go to the gym with an open mind and LEARN the right way. One of the worst things is to try to train someone who thinks they know everything when they don't have a clue. And at this point... from the looks of it, you dont have much of a clue.... so remember, be a sponge.

Really, cause (no offense) in that vid your body shot were bad at the best of times. You need to turn your body into the shots to drive more power into them. You should also make sure that after you punch your hands go straight back in front of your face else you will get countered hard and often

Just a few tips, you can ignore them if you want but hey they could be usefull.
