View Full Version : The war thread.
handjobs4dollars 03-22-2003, 07:27 PM From now no new threads about war. If some liberal hippie says something about this post it in here. Some right wing carzy **** nut bombs a pre-school post it here. Don't post anything about war in other threads. Some people don't want to talk about the war and some do. For those who do you have a thread and just one thread.
handjobs4dollars 03-22-2003, 07:35 PM Oh by the way to all the people who say that I am disrespecting soldiers. **** you. Thta is only a delay tactic. Don't protest or voice a anti-war statement till all the soldiers are home. Sure the war has started and I can't do anything about it. But I'm going to remind you every day that the war is illegal.
The Jake 03-22-2003, 07:36 PM How long before you figure America invades Canada for it's water?
- The Jake
handjobs4dollars 03-22-2003, 07:37 PM Never because it's against international law. Just like it's illegal to invade a country for the purpose of changing the government.
The Jake 03-22-2003, 07:46 PM Ahhhh..... :)
So why aren't I assured?
Oh well, more water for me I guess since I will be living in America soon. I gotta practise on being more selfish, gotta be able to blend in....
- The Jake
The Jake 03-22-2003, 07:49 PM OK - that might be a bit harsh. Not everyone is that bad. But there is a hell of a lot of ignorant people with rights to vote, drive big ****en trucks and brandish arms....
At least we Aussies are too apathetic and too stupid to really affect anyone else but ourselves.
- The Jake
handjobs4dollars 03-22-2003, 07:50 PM You really couldn't do it? The U.N. could impose santactions on to you that would disallow trade or producing weapons.
The Jake 03-22-2003, 07:51 PM HAHAHHAHAHAHA
You assume Bush would do what the UN told him!
You funny!
- The Jake
handjobs4dollars 03-22-2003, 07:55 PM No but hopefully I would hope that other country's would back us up. But I doubt it. They would be to worried about lossing protection from america and trade with them. Dammit we need another super power in the world.
handjobs4dollars 03-22-2003, 08:02 PM Why does bush think he has the right to tell a leader of a nation that he has to leave his own boarders.
HockeyFighter 03-22-2003, 08:08 PM because he is a ****
handjobs4dollars 03-22-2003, 08:10 PM Thank you.

But he supports terrorists! He's an evil dictator that's butchering his own people! He lied to us about the weapons he's got, and he's in control of obscene amounts of oil!
Of course, our evidence that he supports terrorists is neglible,
We helped install him in power and turned a blind eye to his butchering until it suits us not to,
We also decided that the world was too divided on how to solve this so we thought we'd help out,
Oh well, there's stilll the oil!

The Jake 03-22-2003, 08:25 PM Seriously though, Australia's politics are now starting to match Americas. We're now the bully of the South Pacific.
No ****.
Ever hear about East Timor? Little fledging nation that earned it's independance from Indonesia at great cost as many people were butchered. We sent in peace keepers to help them out so that they could solidify their independence. We also provide economic aid in order to help them.
The biggest resource this little nation has is oil. It has decent size oil fields - which is it's ONLY source of wealth. So what does Australia do? Basically offers to provide economic aid only if it signs over it's oil rights to us for the next five years. Mmmm.... nice touch.
Second, we're the only western nation apart from America that failed to sign the Kyoto Treaty (a world treaty designed at reducing green house emmissions). This treaty will benefit every man, woman, child and infact, every living thing on the planet over the course of time. And Australia and America gave it the big **** YOU.
*sigh* It won't be long before someone bombs this country. Perhaps that's what it will take for our government to reassess our position? For now, America can act as a bully because its the biggest fish in the pond, Australia is imitating America and it's ludicrous because we're a little fish in a BIG, big pond.
On the issue of pre-emptive striking, how long before Israel bombs the **** out of Palestine claiming a pre-emptive strike was required, or before Pakistan nukes India (or vise versa) claiming the same??

Why would he disarm himself anyways. The U.S. was going to attack anyways.
LukeDothSucketh 03-22-2003, 08:57 PM Jake, the Kyoto Protocol was total bull****. The only reason it got so much support was because a lot of anti-American countries saw that the U.S. was not going to ratify it so they made it into something that they could attack the States for. It would have killed all economies. I'd rather see the Earth die than my bank account, sorry hippies.
LukeDothSucketh 03-22-2003, 08:59 PM Everyone likes to complain about the government. Because they've never had power in their life. The Lord of the Rings people. You can't use power to serve others, everyone's greedy, no one cares about anyone else now shut the **** up about Bush.
HockeyFighter 03-22-2003, 09:07 PM no

The governemnt has the power to change the world for the better. The sad thing is they never use it.
LukeDothSucketh 03-22-2003, 09:41 PM Its not sad, its just life. The world will never be good. If you think Canada's such a peace-keeping country send them into ****ing Serbia and hang every goddam ******* that shot the 7000 males in the Bosnian war, or that tied families to stakes in villages, covered them in gas and burned them alive in '99 in Kosovo.
zioxoiz 03-23-2003, 11:32 AM what about the swiss!

It was generally smaller, third world nations that complained, simply because of the lack of industrialisation that would have caused major problems for them to meet the standards.
That is yet to explain why 1st world countries like Australia and the USA DIDN'T ratify. In Australia, when our government refused, this was met by a HUUUUGE public outcry.
Despite a majority of the population was against our declinining of the Kyoto Protocol and once again, our illustrious PM took the stance of "the public have no ****ing clue. **** you, I'm running the country."

HockeyFighter 03-24-2003, 12:33 AM Just a question on the Australian government.
Can your PM afford to pull **** like that because his government is never in danger of falling or is he taking the chance that these decisions could cost his party at the next election.
Here in Canada the Liberals are in no danger no matter what our PM does. He could go to a news conference, tell the nation to **** off, and the Liberals would still take a landslide in the next election because there are no other major parties to oppose them.
handjobs4dollars 03-24-2003, 12:35 AM Thank god I'm liberal and we win every national election.
HockeyFighter 03-24-2003, 12:37 AM I hate you. I wish the conservatives could unite and we could bring you bastard down. Alliance all the way for me.
handjobs4dollars 03-24-2003, 12:40 AM It's not going to happen. Aliance isn't a strong party. It doesn't really matter do you think things change that much from one party to the other.
VulgarTheClown 03-24-2003, 12:50 AM so has the war started yet?
handjobs4dollars 03-24-2003, 12:53 AM Yes
ig0r1eye 03-24-2003, 03:11 AM this thread sucks
I'm going to make a war thread!
