From the 45 min. I saw the high formation had no ill effect, Coker and Barry looked up to the task. But honestly a Chelsea team of two-three years ago would have destroyed a team that played that openly. It was wicked - I live in a chelsea area and my old housemate is a villa fan - he went crazy at both goals and we had to leave in a hurry at the end.

Chelsea were very ordinary, no idea why they didn't start with cole on the left - there was no balance in the side. Villa benefitted from having two wide players who worked like trojans all game long.
