I am going to a different gym that is closer to home now. They have a couple of trainers there............about 4 but they show up whenever the hell they want except for one. He is always there every day when I show up. I trained with him twice but this is my problem. When I first come in the door this guy has me doing 30 jumping jacks, duck walks, sit ups, some weird crossing ( running back and forth crossing ur legs and arms). The problem is after I get done with this (especially duck walks) my legs get tight and tired.....I cant barely move. If i chose not to do it he acts like he doesn't wanna train me so, I just do me or wait for another trainer to show up. Do u guys exercise first thing for warm ups?

stay with it and eventually it'll pay off and your gona feel alot fitter and stronger. He's proberly testing you to see wether you will stick to the trainins so he doesnt waste his time.
Stick with him.

I know how to throw my punches, pivot, keep my hands up, all that. I don't have a problem with doing exercises but, I would rather do them after not before any glove work.

This is what I was used to doing:
1. Walk in the gym, wrap my hands
2. Stretch
3.shadow box 3-4 rounds for warm up
4. Hit the punching bag 3-4rds
5. Work the mits 4-5 rds
6. Hit the speed bag (sometimes)
7. Jump rope 2 rds
8. Do exercises which include (neck, squats, push ups, 6 inches, crunches)

So u guys think its ok if I do my exercise first and I should just suck it up?

yeah it should be alrite. I think it's jean marc mormeck who lifts weights every morning and boxes after a few hours later so it should be ok for you as weight training is far more taxing.

I think so, i read his routine and he says he does a weight lifting routine everyday whilst in training camp. I think he must change his muslcles worked everyday so he can recover, like he does arms one day and chest the next or something like that.

i read somewhere that he plays basketball with a 15 pound medicine ball or sumthin like that he jus shoots it or some shit. that sounds like a good explosie shoulder workout to me...

nah man it aint like that, i used to think that yea, but research has proven to me otherwise, so now i think boxers def should lift weights, i was jus sayin that it is surprising JMM lifts every day, cuz i still think that would be a little much for a boxer, but i may be wrong im no weight lifting expert. i didnt try to piss u off...
