hey, so I've decided to give boxing a shot and see how it goes. You know, have a couple of fights, win a couple of a trophies, as an accomplishment i can feel proud of, as well as brag about know what i mean?? so yeah, I started a few weeks ago. Just wondering though since I absolutely hate getting up in the morning and running, mainly cuz my body is still pretty damn sore from the previous days workout, could I do my roadwork, 2-3 mile run, after boxing trainings over?? would it still have the same effect as doing it in the morning??

It would be better to do it after boxing cause you're pushing your body more, even though you're tired. It would make you get used to it quicker.

I always usually run at night I just prefer 2 on any day. my boxing club is only bout a mile uphill run away from my house so I normally do that after training at the gym.

i do my roadwork after the gym maybe twice or three times a week, but only long distance jogs. sprints and intervals i always do in the morning when i'm fresh and ready to go. but yea running a 3 miler after boxing training would be good for ur stamina cuz u will know wut it is like to push urself after bein dead tired.

hate to go against the trend here but i was told that if you work out hard enough, your muscles will be damaged, and moderate to intense cardio will only serve to damage your muscles. i walk back from boxing everyday after my workout which is alittle over a mile but i wouldnt run it, always do cardio first thing in the morning.

but i may be wrong, could someone post an article or something?
