agreed that running is a tremendous way to get fit, probly the best way, but that is not the ONLY way to get fit. theres conditioning drills, weight lifting, etc. but yea i get wut ur sayin runnin is the main way someone should get fit...

Do you have a workout plan that you can give to me to try w/my running. And how many miles daily would be an sufficient amount and would it be okay to do it on a treadmill?

no offense dude, but there is a search option here and the internet has tons of info on the matter. everyone works out differently its a workout regimen not the ten commandments. put some effort into it and do some research and experimenting, no one here is gonna give u the holy grail my friend. u gotta put some work into it if u wanna get in shape.

i run 3 mile every day just to stay in spape. i loads loads of other exercise as well (100s of press up situps ect.. cba type them all) but i am not traning for anything at the moment so anything up to 6 miles really, if you want to be really fit.

when im on the threadmill tho i do it on the highest incine so it burn of 100s of cals but depending on what type of run you want to do really hight incline for buring fat, fast 100m sprints to get fitter id mix it up each day

it will abit yes but it wont make you look like you have been pumping roids

if you don't run much, start off running a mile/ mile and a half a day, eat well, fibres, protein, carbs = fish, chicken, cerial, fruit etc.

lots of press ups especially in the morning and before bed, sit ups and crunches also.

you can also use weights, if your not boxing i suppose it doesn't matter too much what you lift so get in a gym and start lifting.

If your not planning on boxing then...go for about a 1.5 mile run and a nice comfortable pace. When your back do 25 push ups, 50 sit ups, 30 squats and 12 chin ups. go through that cirtcuit 4 times. and do it 4 times a week and you'll see results.

Otherwise you can go to a gym and lift weights. The most important thing though for body sculpting is a proper diet
