Bang vs Sudo......I can't even begin to say how wrong this would be. Ludwig KO 10 sec first round.

HAHAHAHA....
Everybody in here used to be riding the Genki Sudo band wagon, but it seems like everybody is about to switch.

10 second K.O...yeah right, I am willing to bet my house on that never happening.

I NEVER thought Sudo was good. I saw his fights and I've seen Ludwig fight. They aren't even in the same class. 10 seconds is an exaggeration but it wouldn't last long. The first time Genki tries a spinning back whatever he will be on his back looking up at the arena ceiling. He just got beat in a K-1 in the first round of the tournament by Masato. Ludwig is predicted to win the K-1 GP.

Hopefully Sudo will have been humbled enough not to try to stand with Bang, if he takes him down Sudo'll sub him. If he tries to stand with him, Genki will get KTFO.

Confirmed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duane "Bang" Ludwig and his manager Sven Bean has confirmed with MMA Ringreport that he will be taking the place of an injured Josh Thomson. Bang will take on Japanese sensation Genki Sudo at UFC 42 "Sudden Impact" in Miami Florida on April the 25th. The Nature of Josh Thomson's injury is unknown at this time, but unlike the last time out where Genki Sudo also dropped out of the UFC 41 card all together, this time he will be taking on the only man to knock out the formerly Number one ranked Lightweight in the world, Jens "Little Evil" Pulver. Duane is coming off the most impressive win of his career knocking out Pulver in just over a minute at UCC 12 in January, and will put his K-1 career on hold for a short while and look to take out the unorthodox but effective style of Genki Sudo. Genki has also spent some time in the K-1 circuit with mixed results but will meet arguably the best stand up fighter in the world of MMA in Duane "Bang" Ludwig. Josh Thomson has had the worst luck of late having three UFC opportunities lost due to injury. His first was supposed to be against Rumina Sato (before Rumina's string of losses) at UFC 37 in Louisiana, but an injury stalled his debut in the big show. His second, against Genki Sudo at UFC 41 but a foot injury forced him out of that. Now another opportunity is lost due to ahother injury. MMAringreport wishes him a speedy recovery.

I agree with what people are saying that the UFC shouldn't have matched these guys together at first. I would have liked to see Sudo and Serra or Sudo and Penn. Maybe Ludwig vs Thomas or a rematch with Dullanty. But hell I got to give them credit for getting more talent for a dead lightweight division.
