Nah, Pickering is English. He should be one for the future, but he won't ever be fast enough to ge more than a sneaky bronze at a world level event.

The only world class non-druggie sprinter we've produced in recent years is Darren Campbell, and he was a classic case of mentality and guts trumping true natural talent.


Lewis-Francis is a real failure, he has so much talent, but he just doesn't have the ambition it seems.

I sat bolt upright thinking "what the **** has he done now" but it was all an anti climax when it reported that Tyson Gay had beat someone at jogging.
