msagrain 08-24-2007, 02:03 PM seems good but haye should be 1 not enzo :)

As I said.. there were a few surprises.. that was one of them..
mickeyb 08-24-2007, 03:40 PM Bah, look at the heavyweights. What a stinking ****ing barrel.
A fatty, a glass jawed dissapointment and a kickboxer. All boring as **** and as sluggish as a really slow thing.

Yes sir.. The pickings are Mighty SLIM in the HeavyWeight division..
Unseen 08-24-2007, 04:51 PM vid haye might be better and may achieve more then enzo, but he doesnt have a belt. also enzo gave a good performance against braithewaite.
apparently thaxton believes he is the best of british. might well be above earl. lookin at the list are there any new boxers to watch out for? cuz some of the names have been there for ages lol
HeavyWeight:
1-Matt Skelton
2-Micheal Sprott
3-Audley Harrison
unfortunately this is about right until haye steps up
CruiserWeight:
1-Enzo Maccarinelli
2-David Haye
3-Mark Hobson
at the moment i'd have haye and macca more or less even, but with the edge to haye
MiddleWeight:
1-Howard Eastman
2-Gary Lockett
3-Wayne Elcock
no john duddy? eastman's still probably the top man, but i'd have duddy second
WelterWeight:
1-Micheal Jennins
2-Ali Nuumbembe
3-Kevin Anderson
nice one...i rate jennings higher than those two as well. i'd love to see jennings get the chance to fight for his old british title against anderson
LtWelter:
1-Ricky Hatton
2-Junior Witter
3-Gavin Rees
**** rees. i think colin lynes or ted bami and many others would soundly beat him
Lightweight:
1-Graham Earl
2-Jon Thaxton
3-Lee Meager
4-Amir Khan**
nice to see they don't have khan in the top three yet - i think he should have to beat someone like meager before getting the chance to go anywhere near thaxton or earl
SuperFeatherWeight:
1-Alex Arthur
2-Carl Johanneson
3-Ricky burns
agree with the top 2, although johanneson might be ripe for the taking after getting softened up in his last fight. i'd have burns and mitchell joint third
Mozza 08-24-2007, 07:52 PM Thaxton should be above Earl.
mickeyb 08-24-2007, 08:25 PM John Duddy!?! I swear he's a boxer from the Republic of Ireland. I'll find out rooq.
He's a wicked fighter though.
Edit: Ayup... your right, hes Northern Irish. Thank ****, he's on our side.
I was gunna start talking aobut Roman Greenburg (HW). He looked real promising but has disapeared off the British scene. i always though he was representing us, but it seems he fights for Israel and has ****ed off to America. Shocking eh- who can blame him... who wants to be a British HW nowadays.

I doubt he would describe himself as British.
Thaxton should be above Earl.
probably true since earl pulled out of fighting thaxton...
HeysusChristus 08-25-2007, 10:58 AM LtWelter:

2-Junior Witter
3-Gavin Rees
Two of those are world champions and Hatton is 'The Ring' champ. Good division for the Brit fighters, although I've never seen Rees fight.
Nate126 08-25-2007, 08:53 PM After December, it'l be Thaxton and Khan respectively, 1 and 2.

When was this official?
I probably missed it when I went on vacation a couple weeks ago.

Rees is quite pathetic really against m'baye or whatever his name is he jumped in patted him on the sides for 3 seconds n jumped out and did that for most of the fight M'baye did nothing back really, but apart from that yea hatton and witter are good british champions.
