I remember his first fight in KOTC and I thought this guy cannot punch to safe his life.

Now he is knocking people the F out.

That is like Royce learning to knock people out.

Amazing transformation. Kudos to Jackson.

Anyone remember another fighter to improve so dramatically.

I can think of alot of people that have improved dramatically, but none that have gotten as good as quick as Rampage.

How about Matt Hughes?

his technique is quite an improvement.

Both of you are correct.

Rampage is a student of the game.

Hansil- I was coming back to the thread to say Matt Hughes. Good call. You beat me to it.

Heath Herring is another one. Before he lost all that weight, he was an average fighter.

Josh Barnett- I personally feel steroids helped him alot though, just my opinion.

I happen to agree with money on this, and Zen, Barnett is good, but I feel he's over rated. I think Heath herring, Fedor, even Ricco and many others are better than him.

Cro-cop has come a long way in mma.

Lightweight, I don't know how much I agree w/ that. He's got a good sprawl and closed gaurd, but that can be easily taught and lies heavily on repetition. Still Cro-Cop's incredibly athletic. I think Rampage has a great team and natural strength. I really think he'll do well in MMA and MMA will do well w/ him. I think Frank's own improvement was incredible, we just never witnessed it. In fact Frank's development exceeds Rampage's.

I agree with lightweight. Cro Crop has come along way. The scarest thing is, he is only going to get better.

Rock Dog: Frank Shamrock? Yeah, now that you mention it, he did come a long way from his early days in pancrase to his reign in MMA.

Nice pick.
