Does UFC have Gomi now with the Pride purchase? Anyone heard of his next action?

Considering Pride has 0 events lined up, I dont think he has a wealth of options.

"As Of July 2007, the three-time defending PRIDE lightweight champion has not confirmed where he definitely plans on heading, although he has indicated that he would prefer to remain competing in Japan, possibly under K-1 HERO'S or Shooto. It's the other way around. Diaz tested positive for marijuana. The bout was declared a "no decision".

Gomi was killing him, until he gassed out. It was like his strength just went out of him all of a sudden.

That was a sweet gogoplata. I dont see how Gomi was killing him, aside from a few punches and 1 that dropped him, Nick was out boxing Gomi all the way. I bet Gomi signs with K-1...

I'd guess that Gomi is K-1 bound. They're probably the only ones in Japan who can afford him anyways. It'd be cool if he went back to Shooto for a fight or two though. Kawajiri rematch, possibly?
