Person who posts the highest point bid by Friday midnight (Chicago time) will receive a dvd-r (ntsc) of Pryor vs Arguello I and the HBO Legendary Nights Pryor - Arguello. Both are excellent quality.

I can ship the 2 dvd's in a small Global Priority flat rate envelope. It only runs $6. The large size (the same size as our Priority flat rate envelope) runs $9.

I used to get raped on shipping all the time until I found out about those envelopes. You can fit 2 vhs tapes in the large flat rate envelope, 1 in the small one.

If you use the flat rate envelope (you have to ask for them ), it's $6 or $9 regardless of weight. It's whatever you can fit in the envelopes. If you were using your own packaging and sending them Global Priority, that's why they were costing so much. Flat rate envelopes are the way to go...

Pryor simply did not want to give up his junior welter title for a series of fights at welter. He wanted to fight Leonard. Period. That's really the only name I have ever heard him mention in interviews or other footage I have of him. It wouldn't have been hard for them to agree to a fight with Pryor to move up to welter for that fight, or possibly take a tuneup at the weight. Almost similar to DLH-Hopkins, minus the huge starpower which made the fight in itself.

Ray's complete dismissal of the idea speaks volumes to me. I'm not saying he feared Aaron or anything like that, but Leonard knew he was too much of a threat without the huge name value. Too much risk for too little reward.

Maybe Aaron should have moved up and worked his way in. But on the other hand, in the 80's a guy like MAB or Manny Pac wouldn't be getting the hot HBO dates unless they had a title belt strapped to their ass. The 140 lb title was the only leverage Aaron had to keep himself visible to the casual fans as well as the hardcore fans.

Ok so let me get this straight. Aron Pryor spends most of his time *****ing about never getting his fight with Ray Leonard(and doing massive amounts of cocaine).

Now you tell me Pryor is the man at 140 and he knows he's not gonna get his fight with Ray, but the fight with Ray is all he wants so why on earth would you continue to stay at 140 and defend your tittle when you know damn well it will never get you what you want.
