Australia has won a total 392 medals in olympic history.. Which is Good in itself and ranks them 13th of all time

But if you Take their Medal count To Poulation Ratio.. They Rank 2nd all time

Canada Can say the same Thing.. Similar Population.. Similar Economy.. Similar everything except climate.. Yet Canada does Not perform anywhere near Austarilas level..

hmm i'm not sure if i can give you a better explanation man. we just literally live and breathe sport. The Australian of the year award is won by athletes more often than scientists or politicians or any other field really... the prime minister says the captain of the test cricket team has the most important job in the country..

as an olympic thing.. well we win alot of our medals in swimming.. usually pretty even with the US for top honours.. and that could have alot to do with climate.

Yeah i've heard that Ozzies live and breath sport all day long, i think British people are just as dedicated to sport, but not as much to actually playing the games themselves as to spectating them.

no doubt britain has some of the most diehard fans, but most of them are too drunk to play any sports themselves.

I guess so....perhaps its the abundance of good weather that doesn't shy you away from venturing outside. I loved playing Rugby Union, but if you think you'd get me playing out in December again and having my face smashed into the icy ground you must be kidding!
