View Full Version : I let myself go...
NaThBoiii 08-17-2007, 08:41 AM I can't believe it, I haven't been boxing in a while and I went for the first time in ages last time. I couldn't even complete a whole session, after half an hour i was done.. My body wouldn't let me do anymore sit ups and press ups and I felt sick and dizzy so i finished the session then.. My trainer was disappointed in me and i felt ashamed in myself. I used to be able to train 5 days a week and have had 3 bouts and won 3 but now im useless.. What do you reckon I should do?

DancinDestroyer 08-17-2007, 10:32 AM this might sound like a cleshay, but you need to find the eye of the tiger again.
find something or someone that drives you to kick ass in the gym and you'll be better for it.

yo buddy, this isnt a site for ur free advertising. make forums on ur site if u want people to go to it. if ur on this forum, give advice, dont post everything about going to ur site, cuz no one will.
to the OP, u gots to get that fire back inside u. its gonna take a little while to get back into that fight shape, i was in the same scenario as u, but once u get in that'll be motivation enough, once u realize what kind of a machine u can become....
Kid Achilles 08-17-2007, 11:22 AM Just keep at it, eat right, and get plenty of rest. Keep your thoughts positive and goal oriented, and your energy level high, and you will get back into the swing of things. It's only a matter of time for the man who does all these things.
NaThBoiii 08-17-2007, 11:43 AM But thats the thing, my energy level isn't high. I wake up and I think oo I can't be bothered to go gym today because I don't have the energy nomore. I have to drink like 3 cups of coffee everyday to keep myself away

think about this bro...Your body is a car, for your car to function efficiently it needs good clean fuel. Your performance depends on what fuel you put into your engine. Put sugar and **** in the gas tank and your car runs like terd right? Same with your body homie!
NaThBoiii 08-17-2007, 02:48 PM Thanks Danny.. But the thing that stops me training often anymore as since i got drunk one night a while ago ive always been tired 24/7 no matter how much i sleep, even sleep 12 hours I was knackered :s
danny stash 08-17-2007, 03:04 PM 8 hours..no more no less..2 sets of 4 hour REM sleep!
