I guess Sapp's not too far away and maybe eventualyl a rematch w/ Nog, but what else? Also will he last as long as Nog did and will he w/ stand a rematch w/ the man? How would a fight betw. him and Abrnett paly out? I guess much like the one w/ Herring, but Barnett could always surprise us. Hit me up w/ what you think.

If his first defense is against Sapp, it could be his last. I don't think his style will work well against Sapp, he's just too damn big and strong.

I'd say give Nog a rematch right away, but it wasn't like the Ricco fight were it could have been a fluke, he straight up beat Nog.

Sapp has alot of K1 fights coming up though so who knows. Maybe Mirko will get the next shot, I know this sounds strange, but who else should get one. Not Heath. Maybe they can sign Barnett, but they'd probably give him some other matches for a title shot. It's really up in the air at this time.

It'd be cool if Sperry got a shot, I know he hasn't earned it, but he has to fight somebody.

Fedor will beat the piss out of an over rated Barnett. I agree with Zen though, Fedor can't beat Sapp, It's all about style and Fedor's is tailor made for Nog but he won't beable to keep Sapp down for his patented GnP.

I think Fedor deserves to defend his title against a couple fighters before he gives Minotauro a rematch. Maybe, Goodridge, Coleman, Erikson...there are many choices.

Coleman and Erickson would be intersting, IMO Gary would get owned badly.

I love Gary, but he definitly won't get a title shot. He said himself, his role with PRIDE is different and that he is not in the title picture.

I think the logical choice is Mirko.

Mirko would get mercilessly GnP'd. I'd like to see who'd win the GnP war between Coleman and Fedor though!

Supposedly, Sapp will be fighting Dan Bobish in his next Pride fight, if rumors are true. Maybe they'll start a superheavyweight division or something.

Bobish has good chance at handing Sapp his ass. That bout has a lot of potential.

That will never happen. Bobish has the glassiest of glass jaws in the history of glass jaws in a glass jaw world.

But he's big and punches hard...Sapp hasn't fought anybody big with wrestling ability.

He'll KO Bobish rather quickly, IMO.

I would much rather see something like Sapp v.s. Erikson or Ambriz

I would rather see those fights also I just tought that the Bobish Sapp match was a done deal and was speculating on that, and Sapp Ko'ing his opponent quickly is always a possibilty. I think Erickson would have the best chance against him in an MMA match.

Did you see Bobish v.s. Ambriz? I was there live. Ambriz beat the **** out of him in under a minute. I really don't understand Pride going after Bobish. It just doesn't make sense to me. I've been to all of Bobish's fights since he returned to MMA. He hasn't impressed me yet.

No I missed that one. I don't know why they didn't set up Erickson vs. Sapp, that seemed to me the most logical choice. Tamura?*scoff* Pride definately has a propensity for odd matchmaking.
