well, i mean....what are ur goals and stuff?? i guess ur workouts are ok no one is really gonna be able to say whether its good or bad cuz they're not u, so if its working for u, then its good, if its not, then its....not. by the way, why such long rest periods?? 4 minutes is ALOT of rest man. definitely lower those rest times to up the intensity.

list ur goals... AM? pro? fitness? we need more info to give good advice ma man.

P.S. you cant learn boxing not going to a gym, not real boxing anyway....

yh i no wot you mean about the rest times and i think your right maybe half them i think well the 4 mins ones and train the 3 min rests to 2 mins

k my long term plan is to get stronger and get the very basics of boxing nailed down by doing this workout for about 7 months and then im going to sign up for boxing at a proper gym then.

i agree with is it a good workout because only i will know i just want to know if the overall setup of it is good not particulary the quantity of workout etc.

yh ok im a total amateur and my fitness is pretty good i think i mean i could get up and run about a mile now.

thanks m8 fr ya help

Join a gym now bro. You can't learn to box at home by yourself. You'll pick up some real bad habits that'll be hard to break. It's good you're working on your fitness from now though but definatly get down to a gym to learn the boxing basics.

Good Luck Bro!

seeing on your picture it looks like you go to a boxing gym in london i think it is well im from blackpool you may or may not have heard of it but dat dm i was wondering if you have seen what happens to new people joining that are around 16 y/o. how often do ya go there? do you get a trainer and go classes or would ya just go and use the facilities there?

i do agree that i need to get to a gym sooner rather than later though. id just like to know a bit more about it first because i dotn think it would be looked wel upon if you turn up in not a strong shape lol

thanks m8

In all honesty that wont exactly prepare you for a gym, you dont do bicep curls in boxing nor do you get to rest for that long. Your not going to get the basics down on your own all your going to do is make bad habbits for yourself and make it even harder to get the basics down when you first go to a gym. Who cares about wether you know nothing or are in horrible shape everyone starts somewhere so dont waste your time degressing by teaching yourself bad technique and get yourself to the gym eager and ready to learn

How you look is not important. I didn't know **** about boxing when I walked into the gym for the first time and probably looked ridiculous gasping for air after doing 30 seconds on the focus mitts. I could barely keep my arms up and kept telling the trainer to stop every round so I could get water. It was sad. You know what though, I kept up with it and kept looking for a gym I felt comfortable at and I asked questions and progressed. I think the most impressive thing is to watch a new guy come in, look ridiculous and then continue to show up anyhow and watch him develop. I'm still that guy and I'm fine with it. Eventually I will be decent.
