let it be known!
if u are a young inspired boxer who decided to go amatuer and are goin for it now, put ur profile down here. use mine as the example. i wanna see da FUTURE amatuer stars in this forum. i know im one of em. STAND UPP.

Boxer: WillyWhyte
age: 20
current weight: 158
fight weight: i can cut as low as 145.. but we'll see
height: 5'8
boxing history: i been watchin it since 05. i love boxing now, its all i breath.. i been trainin from home since 05 too.. i bought my first pair of gloves and double ended bag early 06 and then got a heavy bag and new double ended bag.. tons of new gloves n ****.. been trainin pretty hard ever since.. this years been the most serious..
current situation: browsing gyms, narrowed it down to two. gunna sign up to one and start sparring and trainin with a trainer.. then when he says im ready, ill fight.. but as for right now im being slow with it cuz im injured in a few spots... but by 08 ill have a fight.. im ready now for sure.. but i still can wait..
boxing style: i can do whatever. ill box for points with ya, or ill fight ya, depends on the style i get in there.. but i like to box but also fight.. amatuer fights 3-4 2 minute rounds so its not really too long, so il lprolly be more aggressive and active.. i am in good shape so ill throw lots of punches.. but its all about timing your opponent. from the outside at least.. and if ur inside, you just look for openings and hit them hard.. and also cover up.. so thats basiclly what im doing in there..
boxing goals: well i use to have pro ambitions, but once i really got training hard i realized pro is a whole nother ball park, so right now im takin amatuers as serious as i would pros, im gunna go out there n fight n do the best i can and be successful. my goal is a very successful amatuer career, that ill be happy with when its over with

Boxer: Kevin
age: 16
current weight: 137
fight weight: 132
height: 5'8 1/2
boxing history: got interested in boxing sometime last year. started watching it a lot. started shadowboxing and running before i went to my gym.
current situation: i am currently training at a gym. been training for about a month now.
boxing style: i like to fight more on the outside and got pretty good speed and power, but not really brawler/slugger type
boxing goals: i am going to do as good as i can as an amateur and if i do REALLY good ill consider going pro cause realistically its very very hard to make it, chances of getting brain damage, and i have a good education.

Age: 31
Weight: 262 now, probably can get to 250, but will always be a heavyweight.
Height 6'10"
Style: Orthodox stance, outside fighter, power punching
Boxing history: Been a fan since i was 10, but really just started working on it 6 months ago. Getting stronger, faster, and better everyday. I have been in contact with my LBC about joining, and I need to find a good gym to get me ready for amateur fights. My goal is to start having amateur fights within 6 months, if I can.

Boxer: “Little” Simon
Age: 28
Current Weight: 236 – Super Heavyweight
Fight Weight: Will try to get down to 230
Fight Weight: 6’3”
Boxing History: Loved boxing all my life. Grew up watching Iron Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Ray Leonard, Eubank, Watson. Always wanted to try boxing and always been heavy handed since school days. Finally joined a club just before my 28th birthday. Been training hard ever since.
Current Situation: I’m now registered with a club called Edmonton Eagles ABC where I’ve been given the alias Little Simon. I’ve been told I should be having my first bout in the next couple of months or so.
Boxing Style: At the moment just working behind my jab and using my long arms. I’ve been told that I hit with a very high power ratio with good handspeed for a super heavyweight.
Boxing Goals: To basically get a good amateur career under my belt and eventually become a coach.

:puppy_dog :hail: I would enjoy fighting you someday. I will never be in your weight class, but the challenge inherent in a friendly 3-round spar promises serious growth potential.
