Interesting questions, Feisty. Even if you are shrinking us lol.

I have a place to eat food to ear, Im not cold etc.

I can read; that's always great. I always say it's great we can read. If you can read you can expand your knowledge on practically any other subject. You can get a library card (free I think) then rent books for free or read them while your there.

I can write. Which is very important.

I will add more later maybe

I'm a lucky kid with a lot going for me.

I have a roof over my head, with a loving family all around me.

I have a head on my shoulders meaning I can go far in life and have the ability to make the right choices to achieve my full potential.

I have a great group of friends who are always there for me and will do anything for me.

I have a girlfriend who I love and she loves me back :D

Depending on the type of job you do, it can be very dangerous. Especially if it requires you to travel throughout the country. Some of these places are accessible by convoy only. I'm fortunate that I don't have to travel. As for my auditors, they are required to travel throughout Iraq. However, they're only allowed to travel by fixed wing or helo. Convoys are strictly prohibited. I've heard many stories from contractors who've lost co-workers because their up-armored trucks were blown to pieces by IED's and EFP's. Most of which you don't hear in the news.

I've got a good job that pays ok.

I have lots of friends that I get to see plenty

I have a girlfriend who is lovely (although it does mean I have to sleep in a bed with bright pink sheets)

I get to play muchos sport, and watch even more.

My family are great, all healthy, all happy.

I have a seven year-old son who hasn't become shy about giving his daddy all those heart warming "everyday hugs", and a wonderful wife whose beautiful smile lights up every time she sees them.

That's all.

HOW ABOUT YOUR WARM SMILE WHEN YOU SEE HER SMILE AT HIM? ;)

Yeah, that too, Fiesty.

LOL.

Although I'm not really sure I smile all that much during those. Well maybe I do, but those smiles of mine would be overshadowed by that feeling I get when I give him those hugs, which are really intended to show him how much I love him. I hug him multiple times a day, at least, but those "everyday hugs" are something special from him and are to be cherished for sure.

I tend to get that warm rush of love to the heart and deep appreciation when I look at my wife at the simpliest of times, and often it's when I'll just glance over at her when she's watching television or something, and she'll look over, see a little smile on my face, and then asks "Whaaaat?" in that sweet little voice of her's...."Nothing sweatie. I just love you, that's all".

I think you know that feeling, don't you, Fiesty?

god get me my sick pan yogi!

On a more serious note, it must be THE best thing in the world, having a stable loving family to nurture. I know that it is my #1 priority in my life, to one day get married and have some kiddies to put on military style fitness regimes.

Sorry, Opt, I really didn't mean to make you vomit, but what the hell can a guy cherish when he's not really the materialistic type, and generally dislikes the way his job leaves him all creaky and cracky from climbing all those ladders and whatnot?

DAVE!!

Well, obviously, by the length of time it took me to respond, I'm a bit of a sporatic poster these days and, unfortunately, am not at a point yet where I can get back to writing.

Life is a bit of a challenge; but good. I have no complaints as complaining wouldn't do any good and, in fact, would emphasize my woes...which, comparitively, are few.

Not to bore you with all the details; but I've been working on commission in retail supporting myself and my wife, who has been out of work for nearly a year and a half, now. ...kind of takes the time away from leisurely pursuits. :)

Anyhoo, one thing I will say is that one certainly can find out that one is up to any challenge only when that challenge is put upon you. It is easy to sit back and say, "well, if that were me, I'd do so-and-so"; but until one is put in "that" position...one truly doesn't know what one would truly do.

Though times have been a little challenging since I was able to surf these boards on a regular basis, I am genuinely thankful for the obstacle that have been thrown in my path...for in dealing with them and circumventing them, I have had the fortune to find an inner strength and resourcefulness I truthfully did not know I possessed. Also, my wife and I have grown closer only through our slight adversity and all of this, at least for my part, has made me a better person....and though she is not here at this computer to speak for herself, I would venture to say her as well....going upon the change in her I have seen.

Sorry to bore you with such a mundane piece of personal history; but I wanted to give a slightly fuller account to your question than the oft expected and given...."fine, and you?" ;)

Though it may be a while before I am able to correspond again.....How are you doing, my friend? :)
