Nog, Sak, and Carlos all lost. I really like those fighters and it hurt to watch. Especially Nog. He just just kept eating those withering shots from that russian wrecking ball. I've never seen anyone hit so ****ing hard and accurate from the ground. I had a bad feeling everyone of those fights might go something like that. Except Rampage vs, Randleman, that one surprised me. Nog ususally wins from his back but Fedor's hits are so devastating from up there. I was excited but a bit sad. Sak also, he was schooling Elvis and just took those hard knees right on the button. Not to take anything away from all the winners, as they fought hard and deserved the wins, but still...we all have our favs. But again, that's one of the most, if not the most action packed MMA event I've ever been privileged to witness.

Good view of the event BB.
I really felt bad for Sak. The guy was playing to the crowd and got caught with a head butt then the knees. Nog has to be the toughest SOB I have ever seen. The Silva vs Rampage thing was great. Best Pride I think I have ever watched.

Yeah, I felt sorry for Sakuraba. He looked like the Sakuraba of old, and with this upset victory by Nino, you gotta wonder if Sakuraba's career is over.

i felt bad for minotauro, i was hoping he would pull off a submission. its weird referring to the Pride HW champion as someone else other than nogueira.

Nogueira is a true warrior, I have nothing but respect for him. It wasn't his night, but I am sure that he will comeback.
Sakuraba got careless and paid for it. Watching him on his knees and with his face on the canvas again broke my heart...

*sigh* I hope Nog gets a shot at Fedor before anyone else does, even though, truthfully, Fedor may just have the style for someone that fights from his back like Nog. I hope that Nog tries to keep it standing more next time. He shot right in and ended up on his back eating those wicked shots. If Nog loses again then I hope they give Fedor Sapp. I'd like to see Fedor try to impose his style on him. Nog was just such a classy and charismatic champion while Fedor's demeanor reiminds of Ivan Drago in Rocky , truly ice cold. Did you guys see that Japanese chick crying when Nog was eating all those shots?
Because of this thread I will be going to my parents ASAP to catch a replay of the PPV on DirecTV because I have inDemand. Thanks guys, I can't wait to see this show.

The Tonight show is okay, but Pride that was cool!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know Nog was going to lose soon. He is a bit overrated.
