I always thought Nog would be our first great HW legacy, that this sport would have. Royce arguably the first in NHB/MMA ol hold such a thing going technically undefeated till his fight w/ Sakuraba. Royce fought above his weight and walked through msot hs oponents, Shamrock's "win" was a draw and Sakuraba only won after the Gracie's threw in the towel to end the 90 minute fight. Noguiera came in looking like what Kerr was fabled to be, many thought that where Vov and Sak stopped Noguiera carried on. That the top tier in MMA was reserved for this one HW fighter from Brasil. A 230 pounds royler gracie w/ some of the best stand up of any fighter in his division. Bustamante's HW ounterpart. Noguiera seemed to be the greaest figter to ever live, Boxing's had Dempsey, Louis, Marciano, Ali, and Wrestling has Karelin, Gama and now that collegiate wrestelr w/ like 400 wins. But all of that isnong comapared a MMA champion who uses multiple disciplines against other fighters of other mixed disciplines nd comes out on top. I though we had our first real hero, and i still respect Nog, but he's not undefeated. And i think if they were to fight again Fedor might still win. But could it be that Fedor is this sports first real champion. The man who will hold a HW title for years putting away all challengers? This sport is far more volatile and tempermental than Boxing or wretling. There are too many possibilities to have anything gauranteed, but what do you think? Do you think Fedor could dominate HW like royce domnated in the early days? Do you think he'll leave a leagacy in the sport like as Louis and MArciano in Boxing and Gama and Karelin in wrestling?

I think he will be a legend. Personally I think he is just tired. Not that he gassed but he fights anyone anytime all the time. He trained and was prepared and his heart was in it but I think the guy should just take some time off and come back strong.
Even in the loss he still took shots that would have KOed any normal person.
Not taking anything away from Fedor. The guy is a hell of a fighter and he fought Nog on the ground.

Its going to be very hard for one man to dominate his divison in MMA. There are so many ways to win, and so many ways to lose.

It makes the fact that Bustamante and Hughes have destoryed the top condenders in thier weight class all the more impressive
