I believe it went into effect today.....

All Xbox 360's experienced some sort of price cut. Also the Xbox 360 Premium Package is now referred to simply as Xbox 360.

On top of this all Xbox 360 (premium packages) are now shipped with HDMI ports. This means that the only thing the Elite has over the Premium is the black finish and a 120 GB HDD.

The new prices are as follows-

Xbox 360 Elite: $449.99
Xbox 360 (Premium): $349.99
Xbox 360 Core: $279.99

I would get one but the Xbox360 has a lot of problems, a lot of people's 360's breakdown in less then a year.

They're making them with new chipsets starting in september, this is supposed to solve the chronic problems. But still with Microsoft's 3 year warranty who gives a ****, your covered for three years and only have to suffer the 2 weeks it takes to get it repaired.

Even so if you buy a warranty through the store you won't even have to wait that long you can just exchange it in the store.

My regular nintendo still works too..
