Welcome and Good Luck :) platinummatt! 08-05-2007, 10:27 PM They will still just go to comments and suggestions or the lounge but nice idea anyway lol * FeistyWench * 08-06-2007, 09:13 AM They will still just go to comments and suggestions or the lounge but nice idea anyway lol probably, but if you haven't noticed posters are tired of answering the same questions for every newbie so they tend to give smart ass answers, so at least they will get a straight answer here without being harassed. it's the thought that counts and all that. ;) msagrain 08-06-2007, 02:54 PM we wouldnt need to tell them in they put it in the FAQ section THE REAL NINJA 08-06-2007, 03:21 PM we wouldnt need to tell them in they put it in the FAQ section It is but no one reads it and it's hard to find . Welcome and Good Luck :) Surprised this thread ain't get more hits. frankenfrank 05-30-2010, 11:28 AM Can the thief steal from your bank as well ? As was also demonstrated to me , The thief (of other user) actually donated me a few points yesterday , if I'm correct. Can de thief actually donate your money to the one you tried to steal from ? Do you keep receiving interest on your bank account and points due your threads during a ban ? I noticed bans here are very frequent. And if you deposit in your account , it resets your interest due , so does it make the depositing viable only for large amounts ? And what are infractions , serious infractions , and what do they do ? And another weird thing : someone very strong hit me with green , and then someone even slightly stronger hit me with red and only half of my points were gone instead of them all , how is that ? frankenfrank 06-18-2010, 04:51 AM And regarding the reloading of Karma , which days count ? every day that passes ? every day you visit ? or is it just the number of times you gave reputation ? and is there a difference between if you greened or redded for that matter ? and do the rep power and rep points effect it ? and about the same question regarding bank interest. and how is it when someone with over 20k rep power hits me with red he reduced only about 10k of my rep points ? while when someone with about 20k hit me with green it added the full points ? Cherry Picker 06-18-2010, 05:00 AM Here's the thread that newbie's can ask questions about the forum, points, karma/reputation, store options, etc. and get a real answer. Welcome and Good Luck :) I will ask a question: How do you change the colour of your name in avatar? RINGG 06-18-2010, 05:16 AM I will ask a question: How do you change the colour of your name in avatar? you can buy this through the vbPlaza. Sorry a limit of three questions per post! Kidding, I'll give a brief rundown to the best of my knowledge: We can give karma 5 times in 24 hours. If we want to give someone karma again we must first give kama to 50-60 other members-thats why it says "you must spread before giving to __ again" If someone with 20k rep power hits you it should reduce your points by whatever number they have and if they are generous to give you green the same applies. Hope this helps Cherry Picker 06-18-2010, 05:48 AM you can buy this through the vbPlaza. Cheers for the reply RINGG 06-19-2010, 06:02 AM Cheers for the reply no problem, glad I could help. This thread should be stickied somewhere so all questions and answers are here for all members to see. frankenfrank 06-20-2010, 05:00 AM Sorry a limit of three questions per post! And it happened again last week. However , when hit with green , it added the full rep power amount , no mistake. frankenfrank 07-14-2010, 10:37 AM And how do you send infractions and what are their effects ? RINGG 07-15-2010, 05:56 PM And how do you send infractions and what are their effects ? Last I heard iinfractions were disabled. So if you can/could send them the effect would be next to nothing. It was an option you could purchase through the vbPlaza, you might still be able to purchase but now it would be a waste of points. K-DOGG 07-29-2010, 11:44 PM (sighs) Damn I miss you guys. Traveler1 12-29-2010, 05:05 AM Man, I've been looking for something like this since I signed up a few weeks ago. Thanks for starting this thread, FeistyWench. How does the whole Rep thing work? What do the bar/s next to the rep # indicate and why are some a brighter shade and others a darker shade? marvdave 12-31-2010, 12:24 PM been a long time just popped in to see if anyone was still around..Happy New Year RINGG 01-21-2011, 04:58 AM been a long time just popped in to see if anyone was still around..Happy New Year Happy New year to you. £-4-£ 01-25-2011, 03:30 PM I have 18146 Reputation Points total. However I only have a Rep Power of 4. Questions: 1) I don't understand how the system works. When will my Rep Power go up to 5, or 6 or 7? 2) Do I need to have been green k'd by a certain number of people for it to go up? Or does it go up depending on how many Rep Points I have? 3) Also, how does the TS have so much Rep Power? I don't understand. Barnburner 01-25-2011, 04:37 PM Do you still receive intrest if you are in-active? !! No, if someone with 20k rep power gives you red, they will subtract 1/2 or 10k rep points. If someone with 20k rep power gives you green, they will add 20k rep points to you. if two people with 20k rep give you red and one person with 20k rep gives you green, you are back to where you were before.. £-4-£ 01-25-2011, 08:40 PM No, if someone with 20k rep power gives you red, they will subtract 1/2 or 10k rep points. When you get 50 posts your rep is "1" When you hit 500 posts your rep goes up to 2 every 500 posts after that it goes up 1 When you are a member one year it goes another 1 and every year after it does the same. Look at your CP, when the points reach 100,000 it goes up one and each 100,000 it will increase by one. Thats the whole of it but ABOSWORTH was good enough to make a thread in the comments section a long time ago explaining it. It is here. http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=292771&highlight=reputation £-4-£ 01-25-2011, 09:30 PM When you get 50 posts your rep is "1" When you hit 500 posts your rep goes up to 2 every 500 posts after that it goes up 1 When you are a member one year it goes another 1 and every year after it does the same.
