Did anyone see the Morales-Diaz fight on Setanta last night?

great fight, but the setanta set up was well ****.

the whole show had a black border around the screen, and the studio analysts were enzo macca (who was enthusiastic but not very insightful or coherent) and the boxing news editor (who was boring and unenthusiastic). they really needed someone with a bit of charisma and experience at this kind of thing in the studio. ****, even johnny nelson would have been better than these two!

plus, they couldn't even spell the names of a couple of boxers correctly, so setanta will apparently have live coverage of some guy called Manny Picquiao and also Fernando Vagras.

fairplay on them showing these fights, but they really need to sort out their production if they want to take on sky sports.

Yep the coverage on Sentanta is a joke! They really have to have a major shake up.



It was the same after hatton-Castillo, after the fight they went straight back to the studio to hear what the pundits had to say, dont get me wrong i want to hear what they have to say but that **** can wait till atleast 5/10 mins after the fight.

I saw the Hatton fight on Setanta and it was a bit poor quilty. I unsubscribe to it after the fight as there wasnt any boxing seduled on it for ages and wasnt really worth the monie to watching ****ty girly American rugby(Nfl) LOL.

I heard the Calzaghe and kesseler fight is being showed on it? :(

i couldnt give a **** about the quality off the show just as long as there bringing the top names to there tv channel and they are so stop complaining about it and welcome the wider choice of fights in the uk

Well no not really, as a subscriber i have every right to mump and moan about the quality of product im buying. The Sentanta coverage is ****in terrible and the sooner they rectify the problems the better. If they want to be as big as Sky for Boxing and Football they need to get their **** sorted out.

"LIVERPOOL UNITED!"

Guess it could be worse- you might have "Manchester Rovers" or "Newcastle Albion" or something..

what was with that ****ing black tram lines down the side of the screen for they were'nt they for the jokes in the studio spoilt the whole thing but for some reason Virgin said i can have senanta for free for 12 months no extra charge.

i'm happy they are showing the fights, but i'm worried by their lack of professionalism as it implies the production team know **** all about boxing and may not be so committed to the sport over the long term.

and as another poster said, if you're paying for the fight you want your moneys worth - its not just the fight itself but the whole show...its not like i just switch on the channel for the fight and then immediately switch off, i do tend to watch the bits inbetween fights as well.

****ing nightmare to cancel with setanta are, i've phoned them twice to cancel and cancelled my direct debit and there still sending me letter's about the direct debit and demand for payment, i paid for one month no contract for the hatton fight, they put u on hold for 30 mins to cancel to, if they send me anymore **** there getting a right mouthful. As for the coverage it was ok, i always find rowling and duke akward especially when they were doing the pre-build up to the Hatton fight. I felt they just dished out a basic production with not much effort put into it. I like the main presenter tho the irish guy don't know why Sky Sports got rid of him.

thats what happened to me why in hell did they do that for pissed me right off can't change it either fiddled with my set top box and my TV no way around it.

lol. they have all those signs down in Portsmouth, i was saying the same thing to my mate on saturday. as for the lines down the screen it is most likely the picture format if its filmed in 4:3 picture format it will show bars down the side and then distort if you change it to wide screen 16:9 most tv’s with smart picture still distort when changing to widescreen a lot of ITV programs are still filmed in 4:3 format.

Im talking about in the UK. Never noticed you were from the states.

got email back from setanta about the stupid black lines down the screen they say they know about it and will try to sort it out for future shows

I heard they were gona get mayorga vs vargas but that was cancelled so maybe they will get it for the rescedualed date.
