But i think Vasquez is the stronger puncher. Even in the first bout, Rafa didnt floor Vasquez. But Vasquez gets damaged easily. Rafa broke his nose in the first match and cut both his eyes in this fight. Any of them could beat Ponce Deleon or Boom Boom at 122 at this time of their careers!

we saw that what boom boom needs nun eh depensa, unfortunately, nde ata nila pinagaralan yun. i dont see any improvement sa depensa nya eh. siguro nataranta rin si boomboom, yung pagpressure ni pdl early on proved too much for him to handle, ni yung mga suntok nya eh nde umaabot considering he enjoyed a 3inch reach advantage. walang jab din to ward the pressuring pdl of. nagcounter lang ng nagcounter halos si boom.

pero maiimprove pa naman malamang yan at bata pa si boom eh. wag lang syang panghinaan ng loob.

Gerry's win was short of a miracle. There was no way he can beat Jhonny on points and to knock him down or out via the head. His only option was a body shot, and he delivered perfectly! Now he is a two time champ in two divisions (WBC superfly & WBO bantam), tying Pacquiao (WBC fly & IBF superbantam). And now we have three world champions!

Gerry needed this win and Boom Boom needed this loss to get their carreers going.

si packy gusto dito magtraining sa gym ni wakee, if roach is telling the truth, he would fly to cebu and stay during the duration of pac's training. ewan lang natin kung makakakuha ng quality sparring partners si pac pero marami naman daw na nagtratraining sa cebu na mga international fighters din eh. so malay naman natin baka mas maging maganda pa training camp nya dito, maaattend nya mga personal and business concerns pa nya dito. magboo-boom pa yung gym nila ni wakee. makes a lot of business sense di ba? magkakaron kasi ng international exposure yung gym eh hehehe

yung ke mayol nga masasabi mong talo na sya even before fight night, since yung conditioning nya at training eh kulang at nde maganda. pero boomboom got every good preparation as can be, substantial time, great training camp and excellent handlers....

inulit ko yung laban, para talagang nanggigil lang ng husto tong si boomboom at nawala na sa focus eh. naunahan kasi syang patamaan sa katawan at ang ginawa ni boom eh counter every shot pdl made. it proved futile for him though at nde kinaya yung lakas ni PDL.

kumusta na kaya sya no? hope he's not too hard on himself at sana bangon lang sya ng bangon and charge to experience ba. ang kinakatakot ko lang kasi eh yung mga ganyang klaseng pagkatalo eh "normally" breaks the will of a boxer and will never be the same again..... pero malamang nde kasi bata pa naman si boom.
