A good step up and risky fight for Khan

I hope he gets KO'd in the first round.

Then Hatton Hurts Floyd and KO's him late on.

WHAT A ****ING NIGHT THAT WOULD BE

Earl has decent power so maybe he'll KO chinny Khan.

But I'm going with a Khan UD.

Agreed.

I think Khan will be slightly wary now and will simply outbox Earl for a late TKO or a UD.

Very true but he's gonna need to work on his defence.

why the hell would he have it on the same day of the hatton fight?

he needs to work on his defence, but also study his opponent. apparently he only had a rounds footage of his last opponent...

if khan blows earl away in a round, it still won't make hardcore khan haters stfu...

anyway, i reckon khan will get through this. he's not going to be stupid enough to let earl tag him. i personally don't think earl has much left - he's still more powerful than limond but not as crafty, plus he's slow.

have to give some respect to khan and (grudglingly) warren for making this fight cos after limond i really expected 2 years of nothing-opponents.

Khan by Stoppage. Props to him for taking a tough fight, who in their 13th or 14th Pro fights take such challenges? Name any other prospect below 15 fights who is willing to fight such competition, Earl is a good boxer but not on Khan's level. He has power though and might be the toughest opponent khan has yet faced.

Earl Still has less Than a 50% KO rate.. I am thinking Thaxton would have been a tougher fight.. SO I am not at all surprised with the descion to fight Earl instead...
Still.. Earl is the Hardest Pncher Khan has ever faced.. if not this fight Then soon.. SOon he will have to face a Heavy puncher.. and Then It's LIGHTS OUT..

At least Khan is going for the big fights and Warren is letting it happen.

Good fight that will get some viewers outside the UK. Props to Khan for taking it. Earl is exciting and dangerous, but also not terribly skilled.

Earl is a good test at this stage in his career, i dont think it will be easy but he will get through it.I think Limond is better than Earl to be honest.
Khan takes this on points but it wont be easy.

Ricky Burns and Kevin Anderson and David Haye are 3 fighters from the UK off the top of my head who had far tougher opponents in their first 15 fights

(for the record Ricky Burns outclassed a prime Earl in his 9th fight and fought Alex Arthur around his 14th )

Khan by knockout, Earl must be shot to bits after the beating he got from Katsidis,

If only my Crisps were as carefully handpicked as Khan's opponents.......

i just noticed on boxrec that the only british lightweights with more than 50% ko ratio are thaxton and gomez. so it would have been pretty difficult for him to have fought non-feather fisted opponents early in his career without changing weight or importing mexicans or something

i have a feeling this one will be a blow out, earl in 3.

Earl in round 4, but if Khan can pull it off a great win for the boy then it has to be Thaxton real test for Khan it's about time

easy win for khan. kahn isn`t going to stand in front of him. Earl doesn`t have the speed to catch Khan unless Khan fights like he did against Limond, which is pretty unlikely considering as he was lucky to escape.

Khan needs to ditch his camp and get proper people in who can develop his skills, but he wont he has to many yes men around him
