I agree with the fighter of the year pick and the fight of the year! My upset of the year is Jones VS Johnson- I think some people saw Tarver winning the fight (even if not in the fashion he did) nobody saw Johnson coming. My KO of the year is Gatti over Dorin (I hate 'thunder', but ya gotta give props where props are due!). My newcomer of the year is Cotto- he may not have the strap that Diaz does yet- but it is on it's way...

I think so. That young kid is so talented, he may not be exceptional in one department, but he's so well-rounded, good all-around fighter. He's so calm and has the poise of a true champion. Styles-wise, Mayweather may be the only fighter blocking the road. I'll pick him over Gatti, Hatton and even maybe Tszyu (we'll see what's left of him). Exciting wars ahead of him.

no way Tyson-Williams upset of the year. i would have to go wit Jones - Johnson.

Fighter of the year is a close one between Diego Corrales and much as I hate to say it Bernard Hopkins (got to respect the guy even if you don't like him - at that age)
Fight of the year has to be Pac-man V Marquez (although I have to say I really enjoyed Morales V Chavez and Pemberton V Shieka)
Upset of the year has to be Johnson V Jones - Yeah didn't think Jones would lose to Tarver but Glen Johnson, jesus!
KO of the year: Gatti body shot on Dorrin was impressive, I always think its more impressive to get a ko by a body shot because you know that it has to be a huge shot to keep them down.
newcomer of the year: I mean how far do you go back Diaz and Cotto have both been around a while but I guess Diaz is as good a shout as anybody at the moment
trainer of the year: Ronnie Shields
Relic of the year: Freitas (in Freitas I think we may see another Hamed, a man that relies totally on the belief that he is unbeatable, once that illusion is shattered then its hard to come back)
