But I am talking about when you see an ex after a period of time apart and you actually get along better than when you were together...you have some laughs, possibly (more than likely) a few drinks...and you find yourself rolling over and seeing them there again.

Is this a bad thing?

I think as long as both parties remember why they split in the first place (which is rarely a sex issue), they can hopefully be adult about it and keep things in perspective...they still have issues with the person, but the sex will always be good.

well sex is great and even better if the body of the ex is at least nice, the only problem is the jealousy because if a woman agrees to sleep with you again I dont see any trouble for her to have sex with anyone she wants so from one side it maybe harmful and pleasent at the same time. So my conclusion is a nice ass deserves a try no matter the psychological consequenses.

Few people can keep old feelings buried when restarting a sexual relationship. At least one person is likely in worse emotional shape eventually than prior to the new encounter.
