You obviously burn some fat as well too. Dudeman1056 07-27-2007, 11:11 AM well i guess what i mean is would i burn the same amount of fat training without a sauna suit or would i burn more fat with one on. Kayo 07-27-2007, 01:29 PM A sauna suit is a last resort. You use them when cutting weight and you need to dehydrate yourself. Its for cutting water weight because it makes you soo hot the you sweat profucely nedcmk1 07-27-2007, 02:13 PM do not train in a sauna suit. Dudeman1056 07-28-2007, 04:22 AM i would only use it at as a last resort like what Kayo said but i was just wondering if u burned more body fat wearing one. Kayo 07-28-2007, 03:01 PM i would only use it at as a last resort like what Kayo said but i was just wondering if u burned more body fat wearing one. no it doesnt. it dehydrates you cause it makes you sweat so much Dudeman1056 07-28-2007, 03:02 PM yea thats kinda what i figured DA1CATAS 07-28-2007, 04:58 PM Waterweight mostly. You obviously burn some fat as well too. co-sign.... (very low amount of fat) Feint 07-28-2007, 07:11 PM I agree, total waste if time training in one. It burns off water weight for immediate weight loss, not permanent. Last resort for taking off a quick pound for a weigh in but as soon as you put fluids back in your body, the weight comes back. Dudeman1056 07-30-2007, 02:59 AM yea i know YellowAndBlack 07-30-2007, 05:14 PM Kind of a ridiculous way to lose weight, even if it's just water weight if you ask me. Watching what you eat, with one hell of a workout would work just the same, and you wouldn't have to wear a trash bag, because that's essentially what it is. No offense to those of you who actually use them, I just see it as a dangerous way to lose a couple pounds of water weight. Kayo 07-30-2007, 05:49 PM Kind of a ridiculous way to lose weight, even if it's just water weight if you ask me. No offense to those of you who actually use them, I just see it as a dangerous way to lose a couple pounds of water weight. it is and it should be only used as an absolute last resort, its not something like "oh no worries i can just use the sauna suit" YellowAndBlack 07-30-2007, 05:56 PM Exactly. I used to have a friend back in the highschool days who had a buddy as well and the two of them were pretty athletic guys, but they'd use the trashbag method, they'd tear holes in trashbags for the head and arms and then put on their shirts and go drive around in his car that didn't have air conditioning to lose a couple pounds of water weight. Ridiculous. The main problem is everyone wants everything now and a quick fix. Just run, jump rope, lift weights, go play laser tag or paintball, basketball, whatever, but don't put on a $24.99 trash bag on yourself. PunchDrunk 07-30-2007, 06:12 PM When you're an experienced fighter, you fight at the lowest possible weight. That means that even when your weights is as low as you can go, you still need to lose 2-4-6 lbs the night before/the day of the fight. Hence the sauna suit. Kayo 07-30-2007, 06:29 PM But back to the topic. A sauna suit just burns water weight Dudeman1056 07-30-2007, 06:52 PM thnx for all the info i would only use a sauna suit if i like i had weigh ins the next day and im way over the limit but that wont happen...the main reason i brought this topic up was because my friend who swears by the sauna suits is always saying oh dude i lost like 6 pounds but the he comes to me the next day and says i gained it all back so i mean he couldnt have been burning fat if the weight come back that easy. but thnx guys avwebnet 04-06-2008, 09:17 PM One of the purposes of using a sauna suit is to increase the efficiency of your warm-up, and to help control your body weight. One of the benefits of over-sweating is to increase your level of physical endurance, taking your body to maximum limits, thereby raising your level of tolerance for extreme conditions. The harder you workout, the more durable your equipment needs to be. For a workout sauna suit, get the Realsauna Sauna Suit (http://www.SuperSaunaSuit.com) from SuperSaunaSuits.com. Not only is it a heavy duty sweat suit, it is easy to clean. All other sauna suits have to be hand cleaned, besides ripping and tearing easily. Yes, this suit will make you sweat your aXX off! So you will have to stay hydrated. Best to use power drinks like gatorade and such. boxing4ever 04-06-2008, 10:56 PM Will it help the process if you wear sweat sweet or albolene on your skin and then throw a sauna suit on? Will a better sauna suit give me better results? is Deluxe Nylon EVA better than a just plastic pvc? |
