Why do you like boxing?

I don't...I hate boxing and I hate you. :mad:

I have always liked to watch fights since I was little, so therefore I like boxing. I like to watch competitve fights, not one sided blow outs like Zabs last fight on the Trinidad undercard. I dont like to see one guy mop the floor with the other.

Because it kicks ass literally.

I like it because despite its sometimes called Savage nature, in the end its still a game of smarts and wits, and conditioning.

I love boxing because it is sports ultimate drama, 2 fighters who fight for pride and respect, who put it all on the line for one thing: Honor. I love boxing because of the HBO beginning montages that presage World Championship Boxing telecasts. I love when Gatti gets off the canvas to stop an opponent and makes a believer out of a 12 year old filipino kid. I love when Jim Lampley, George Foreman, and Larry Merchant provide a great quote to add to the drama of the fight game. When Lampley said "Down Goes The Prince", I was rocked to my core. Nothing will compare the moment when Merchant said at the conclusion of Tarver-Jones II "IT'S OVER!". When Merchant said "He [Vargas] is seriously hurt, he is reacting on instinct and courage" during Trinidad-Vargas, a man about to be executed gained my deep felt respect. I love boxing because I am a pug, I sacrificed so much to be that character "The Asian Sensation" so that I could make someone laugh and make someone think. I enjoy walking to the ring with my music playing and winking at girls before the bell rings and its just the greatest feeling to be doing what I do when the spotlight is on me, especially when I fight in Jersey City. To be an amateur fighter with a cult following is the greatest thing in the world, because you are believed in unlike any other fighters in your gym. I love boxing, because I am boxing.

I love the drama and excitment of boxing. I love the characters in the sport and the consistant talent that shines through. Most of all i love the unpredictability of the sport.

Boxing is sport in its purest form. It's constant non stop action (unless we're watching John Ruiz) that pulls no punches (literally).

I like boxing because its 2 guys in there trying to take off each others heads.no room for error and no blame (in most cases) on anyone else. No team effort. Meaning that you cant slack off for a round or 2,if you do it an cost you the fight.
