why waste my money on a 360? ps3 will have all the same games I want, plus it'll play blu-ray. so for just 200 more, I get a better gaming machine plus a next gen disc player [blu-ray, which has already basically won that short-lived format war]. you can't get a blu-ray or hd dvd player for just 200, and hell who wants an hd-dvd player anyhow? that's like wanting a Laserdisc player.

I don't really consider it true competition b/c it's not a next-gen console, but I might eventually pick up a wii. they don't have too many games that interest me at the moment though. screw that emulation junk. i'm not paying for that virtual console crap. Why do that when I can download the whole nes, snes, n64, genesis, 32x, sega saturn, turbo, etc libraries for free?

I've read they charge like $8.00 for ****ing Punch Out. I can pick that up any time from a local used game store for $1, or can just play on the computer free.

I'll say this about sony though, they're stupid as hell for not keeping the system $500, just coming out with 80 gig hard drives. It's not the hd space that's keeping people from buying the systems, its the 600 price tag, of course. They should instead throw in 20 gig hds and charge $400-450. people can get their own 3rd party hds cheap. ****, a 160 gig will run you $40 after rebates these days.

Did any of you guys see the 15 min in game playable demo? I'm telling you this game is the reason why Sony is better than all, it looks ****ing spectacular.

Sony is still getting owned by Nintendo and Microsoft either way you looka at it. MGS4 didn't look that great anyway. No where near as good looking as Killzone 2. The first Killzone sucked though.

You are either not a MGS fan or you don't like 3rd person games, or you just have really bad taste in games b/c The MGS series is better then anything Nintendo and Microsoft has come up with and that's a fact. I'm a killzone fan, I enjoyed the first one and the second looks crazy but no games out there now or coming soon for any system has anything on MGS4.

That new Trailer (that you can find on your PS3 Demo website or gametrailers.com) looks sick showing the bosses which includes a wolf type creature, a guy flying around in wings, a Dr. Octopus type character, and a Puppet Master.

if they fixed the ridiculous hit detection problem(where it took many, many headshots to bring an enemy down), Killzone 2 will end up running **** as far as FPS go.
