So it's turns out i broke my floating rib.. hurts like a *****. I haveto fight April 6th.. and need to train my ass off. Soooo, I have these ibuprophen tablets at 200mg a pill. So if i live on these to get me through this and continue training hard, how many pills should I take?

Take as many as you need without being ridiculous. Floating ribs are a ***** cause they take their own sweet tiem to heal, not much else you can do about it.

Respect your painkillers though...they can be addictive as **** and easy to get. A bad mix

They will burn your stomach up. I would take one at a time to see how many it takes to relieve the pain. I don't recomend them at all. JMO

**** that matt.i was on 800 mg ibuprofen and i would take 4 at a time.those won't mess your stomach up unless you have a real low tolerance.why won't they hook you up with percocet or something good?

NOUN: A false rib whose anterior end is unattached. The lowest two pairs of human ribs are floating ribs.

44) Rib, false rib, floating rib, true rib, one of the 12 pairs of elastic arches of bone forming a large part of the chest (thoracic) skeleton. The first seven ribs on each side are called true ribs because they join to the breastbone (sternum) and the spinal bones (vertebrae). The other five ribs are called false ribs. The first three join the ribs above. The last two are free at their ends and are called floating ribs.

True ribs (1-7) articulate directly with the sternum.
False ribs (8-12) do not articulate directly with the sternum.
"Floating" ribs are 11-12
