It's this jaw disorder where the muscles of your jaw become over tightened or are easily aggitated. Either way, it hurts to chew.

My jaw is officially made of a fragile crystalline material.

Yeah, I went to the dentist, and it was more or less her telling me that there is nothing really to worry about, except for some obvious pain and swelling that will persist. Advil or prescription drug was her cure, so I went with Advil.

So far I haven't been hit with a punch that has hurt too bad, but maybe that's because the mouthguard is helping me since I bite down hard and that causes the entire jaw to clench up. I've been tapped on the jaw when relaxed and it kills.

I'm fairly sure the reason I got the condition was when the dentist fixed a chip in my front teeth I had for a while, and it kinda made me adjust my bite/cross bite. Either way, it was a neccesary fix.

Oh well, I guess maybe this will just make me focus on working and respecting defense more than ever.

My bite is fine, as far as I can tell. It was just an adjustment, and now my jaw is weakened. Maybe, just maybe, when I get my wisdom teeth removed later on it'll fix the problem. I sure hope it does at least.

the adjustment maybe off some what causing your jaw to be slightly out of line, and it maybe causing you to grind your teeth at night to bring them back into proper occlusion, If the area adjusted feels like it hits the opposing teeth too soon or before the other teeth in the same arch, you may want to have the dentist grind it down slightly to see if this relieves the problem. If you are night grinding you may want to get a night guard to prevent you from grinding your teeth while you are asleep.

thats a wonderful week you get to experience after where you wont wanna be near the sport of boxing.

You might have what you stated above but your right it could also be your wisdom teeth. They could be growing into your other mollers which can cause alot of pain throughout your jaw because of the nerve

:ugh:

This wisdom teeth thing saddens me. I know I need to get it done before the summer ends, and I need it done quick.

How long is the recovery time for 4 pulled wisdom teeth, you think?
