slow thing down i see you got tired towards the end and why were you running around the ring and also think before you throw a punch whats the point in throwing it if your goin to miss and not conect you to should have a sparing seson were you bont onli alowed to throw jabs becaus that teaches you how to get roung you opponets defence ect and also improves you defence alot

your chin is up + your arms are to spread apart = takin an upper cut and or punishing body shot..work on it dawg..how is that winning headgear tho?

agree with that.

at some points in the vid u r pawing ur jab, but at others it looks good and stiff.
ur reaching with some of ur punches and at one point i saw ur right foot come off the floor throwin a right hook/cross (couldnt tell which one). u look to be slightly flatfooted at some parts, but look good and light on ur feet at others.
to me it looks like u dont know wut to do in there. at times, u r tryin to box, which is ok, but u gotta make him come to u and counter him and then move, at other times u r tryin to be the aggressor and walk him down but to do that u gotta have ur hands on ur temples covering ur face, and constantly move ur head and bob and weave ur way in, and once ur in stay in and work, then come out and reset if u need to. keep ur hands closer together u got a big gap, a fast fighter will capitalize on that. leave just enough room for u to see. if ur boxing, use the whole ring!! ur tryin to mix it up which is good but if u fight for real u gotta have a plan. u look pretty good jus gotta work on lateral movement and getting out of the pocket after u throw combos from the outside, unless ur comfortable there with ur reflexes. i saw alot of different styles in ur sparring, which is good if u know how to use them, but u gotta incorporate everything into a plan, like if he tries to run, ima cut the ring off on him and work inside, if he's pressuring me, i'll pick my shots, counter and pivot away, stuff like that. ur footwork looks good in some instances and poor in some others, but i think u could still fight.
when u punch, keep ur head tucked down low still so ur chin doesnt get tagged with a counter, and bring the hands back to ur temples as FAST AS U CAN, faster than when u threw them out. work on lateral movement and pivoting out before the guy has a chance to throw.
more head movement wouldnt hurt either. def try those drills and stuff that i PM'd the other day. all in all, i think ur ready to fight, but u gotta literally write down a gameplan and play out all the scenarios in the fight, AND STICK TO THE GAME PLAN NO MATTER WHAT. dont worry bout the other guy, jus do ur thing and stay relaxed and focus. hope that helps bro lemme know if u need anything else. keep at it ur improving :boxing:

I dnt mean to sound horrible but that was very poor esspecially comapared toyour last one where you looked quite good.
I noticed everytime you threw a right hand your back leg jumped up.
It also seems as if you dnt let your punchs go and when you do it looks asif your scared to get hit back.
Overal though your last sparring vid was beter.
my trainer would'nt let you fight as the chances are your gona get caught alot and you may get hurt.
Dnt take my points to heart but use them to train even harder.

I agree with your trainer, your footwork was awful.

I think your footwork looked worse than it did in your last video.

You were pretty much stumbling around the ring most of the time. You look like you almost tripped a few times. You gotta really really really focus on your footwork.

Damn. You look real, real green. You are just pawing everything out there. Not throwing with any snap. I realize it is sparring but damn...

Work, baby, work. Keep honing them skills. Skill is the most important aspect in boxing.

good! then go and win ur fight and post a vid of it.

i seen ur other vids so i know ur footwork isnt god awful. i say if ur coach told u u could fight before, then u should fight, and if ur ready, u should fight. if its ur first fight ur naturally gonna get nervous and doubt urself and take criticism more harshly and doubt urself more, but try and use it to improve urself and fight on. these guys said dont fight, i say fight, as long as ur ok with it and ur coach lets u. good luck wutever u decide.

I've only seen this vid of you, to be honest i dont think you are ready to fight. Your footwork was not good, it left you square on to your oppnent alot of the time. You were lunging in with shots, leaving yourself off balance, sometimes even lifting your back foot or even crossing your feet. You also looked like you were very scared of getting hit.
To practice footwork stand in the ring in the correct stance and keep moving backwards and forwards keeping your stance whilst you do it, your trainer will show you how. Then start with your back touching the ropes and move two steps forward, stop and throw a combo, forward two steps, stop, combo.keep doing this till you reach the ropes. Then throw a combo, stop, then take two steps back..keep doing this till you go back all the way to the opposite ropes. Keep going backwards and forwards like this this until you can do it easily without needing to concentrate.
Then practice moving to the side..etc
About going off balance with your punches and not planting your feet..get in the ring with someone, both of you agree a combo of atleast 4-5 punches. Now the aim is you both stand in your stance and are not allowed to take a step backwards or forwards. You both take turns to throw the agreed combo at eachother..the aim of the one throwing is to catch the opponent..and the guy getting thrown at must try and block..This is a really good drill as it helps keep feet planted, teaches you how to defend without running away like a headless chicken and how to cover up then immediately throw back.
Once you've mastered this try same thing except the guy getting hit is allowed to throw jabs to stop you.
After that try same drill but with movement.

Hope this helps :boxing:

i like that alot as a drill, except tell ur partner not to throw bombs at u, and u do the same, because ur jus standin there in front of each other u dont wanna hurt each other.
