ruffneck119 03-11-2003, 02:58 AM Do you guys like them? I am trying to listen to knew music and I think they sound cool. Their CD sugar is pretty tight. I used to listen to Pantera back in the day so I am trying to get into heavy metal again.
I mostly listen to Jungle and I love classic rock; well some of it.
Santana rules.

look int othe punk hardcore scene. Its tight ****.
look into some hatebreed to start you out.
also for a punk feel that aint quite punk but aint hardcore look for AFI amazing band. black sails in the sunset and the art of drowning are amazing albums.

Or "Focus" by Cynic....(honestly I haven't listened "The Jester Race")
About SOAD...I've listened one of the most beautiful song in the last years: "Chopsuey"...
Aaron Bizarre 03-11-2003, 10:13 AM I only like SOAD songs like Spiders and Toxicity. When he starts singing crazy is when I dont really care for the band.
Leather: if you can download "Artifacts of the Black Rain" from them. I think its the best song on the CD.
Leather 03-11-2003, 10:15 AM OK ,I'll try to dl it now....
Squezze 03-11-2003, 10:33 AM System of a Down are the ****. They've got their own original sound, and that counts a lot as far as me musical taste goes.
They're pretty heavy at times too. Everybody should download "War" by them. My favorite System of a Down song of all time.
Leather 03-11-2003, 10:34 AM mmmmm...good swedish death metal Suave, but...It's very melodic to my taste...
Aaron Bizarre 03-11-2003, 10:40 AM they are melodic ill give ya that. what is more toward your taste? like Nile?
Leather 03-11-2003, 10:44 AM Yes!! or: Morbid Angel, decapitatted, Brutal Truth, Cannibal Corpse...and old school of black metal: Emperor, gehenna, Darkthrone, Beherith, Mayhem, satyricon, Bestial warlust, Marduk, Dark Funeral....
Hey!! Blind Guardian are goods too!!...
JasonLeonardOBE 03-11-2003, 11:10 AM In Flames is one of the best bands I have ever seen live.
Them and Amon Amarth (which will be over here in April) are some of the most transcendental live bands I have ever experienced. Especially in a small club.
