Had a sevens comp two weeks ago where I was the token white guiy in a team full of fijians, maoris and a Zimbabwean! We got knocked out in quarter finals by team that eventually won the whole show, wo no shame for us really. Had a trail game last weekend against last years premiers. We had a bare 15 which was pretty ****ed and we were pretty much on the backfoot all game. Good points, tackled my ass off and gained a lot of renewed confidence from that. 2 and a half years since last game is a long time, so it was good to get some solid contact.
