I'm interested in starting one, one of my friend's brother's friend's runs an illegal **** site. She says this guy makes a ****load.

i sort of do, it will make a killing if you can get the traffic coming. it sounds like easy work for a legit site, but not at all. its a 40 hour week keeping **** going for awhile, after awhile its not so bad. i don't do anything legit but i know a few guys who do, you need some serious traffic to make money. you just gotta have the time and the money to put out at first, i'm gonna get into it some time.

it also depends on the type of site you want to run. TGP(thumbnail sites with banners/popups - easiest kind) needs lots of traffic. also you need good sponsors(the companies on the banenrs/popups) and make sure it is unique, you want a good conversion ratio.

if you run a paysite(join for $29.95 per month), lots of traffic again. gotta have good security, a good design, unique theme. originality is key in a paysite. the bangbus guys were the first around of their kind and they are loaded now.

i don't actually run a site. i send out spam mail which is in relation to a **** site but not actually a site.

tompics.com is a guys i know site, he claims he makes 7K+ a month.

i kinda do... haha... its free... no money involved.

-Chances are in illegal, you won't be paying taxes. I don't anyway, some do but **** that.
-Legal: you put out a lot(a lot if you plan on making anything anyway) of money to make money. sort of like a car lot(buy/sell). You gotta buy rights to content(pictures/vidos) and you have to regularly do so.

When I say I don't run a legal site - I don't run a site at all, I just spam a **** dialer(user dials up, charges them $4/min, i get $0.35 of it).

And a site is usually illegal because of their practices. An illegal site can mean anything, you could steal the pictures you post without paying for the rights. You could allow your webmasters to spam to bring traffic. Sell your members email addresses when you say won't for targeted email lists for spammers(targeted means by state, gender, country, whatever). Reason for targeted email lists is because its better to spam **** to guys. Also ****o dialers pay higher by country, Australia and Germany pay the highest, so if you spam your dialer to them you make more. USA pays $0.35, Germany is like $0.75.

But an awful lot of that **** can be tracked and accounted for, particularly if you're hosting a site.

Webmaster program: Lets say I Run abcsexsite.com. Some guy comes to my site, and they sign up as a webmaster. I tell them I will pay them $30 everytime they refer somebody to sign up at my site. I tell him I am going to pay him every 2 weeks, on the 15th and 30th of each month. I found out he is spamming my site to bring in traffic on the 5th, okay should I cancel him? Hell no, cancel his ass on the 14th. I get more traffic coming, plus I don't have to pay him.

Stolen pictures/videos - You'll usually get a letter from some guy or his lawyer telling you take him down, I'm sure repeat offenders get charged with something.

Caught spamming - Usually you'll just get cut by your ISP and won't get paid by the company you are spamming for.

One time we got the name and address of a spammer here at work... ohh man... they should be taken into an open field and shot.

Or better still, tortured and have it all recorded and setup my own website "THISISWHATHAPPENSTOSPAMMERS.COM".

Spam is fast, easy money but nothing to rely on. You can spam legally you just have to be sure where you get the email lists from, and take them off of the list if they request.

Legal sites are the way to go for long term money. Doing something illegaly is good for something temporary but not dependant.

Yea definitely, I've only been 18 for like a week so technically I couldn't do anything legal even if I wanted to until now. I've been doing stuff off and on since I was 13. I'd like to get a legal site going later this year.

Yea I was just explaining the differences to you if you didn't know. Spam friendly sites won't last long because people don't want to be affiliated with them. They usually look suspicious and people are afraid of losing money.

IMHO, **** sites really don't care how the traffic is generated. Legally/illegally, it's still traffic to them.

All in all, they don't care. There will be a few who want to stay completely legit. Others will stress in their terms for webmasters not to spam. If he starts getting reports for spamming, they email a warning, if they get more you get cancelled without payment.

If its a big site and they didn't cancel you on your first warning, the smartest thing to do would be to sign up for another account. I don't know if your first warning goes away after awhile or not.
