Who is a better rapper?
|
View Full Version : Lil Wayne or Chamillionaire? winkyisnasty13 07-15-2007, 11:42 PM Who is a better rapper? Kobe Bryant 07-16-2007, 12:40 AM Wayne in my opinion. Cham comes off kind of corny to me at times. But I do enjoy some of his material. Wayne has a nice flow and lyrically this guy is entertaining/down right hilarious. K.O 07-16-2007, 01:43 AM Wayne........but neither are very impressive:( neils7147933 07-16-2007, 07:23 AM Wayne........but neither are very impressive:( Seconded... ROSEWOOD 07-16-2007, 01:41 PM Chamillionaire all day...Wayne just developed good flow..Chamillion been doing his thang, long before he changed his name from Chamillion to the Chamillionaire...Mixtape lesson for you out of town cats......SwisherHouse biiaattchh. ROSEWOOD 07-16-2007, 01:42 PM Wayne........but neither are very impressive:( Both are somewhere at the top in the game... fasman 07-16-2007, 03:33 PM ermmmm right now i prefer Wayne, but overall lyrically has to be Chamillionaire!!! K.O 07-16-2007, 04:17 PM Both are somewhere at the top in the game... That's very unfortunate.... And what "game" are you referring to?? -Antonio- 07-16-2007, 05:00 PM ermmmm right now i prefer Wayne, but overall lyrically has to be Chamillionaire!!! Pretty much how I see it. ROSEWOOD 07-16-2007, 05:02 PM That's very unfortunate.... And what "game" are you referring to?? Rap game playa...Chamillionaire has a way with words like no other..One of the best story tellers since Slick Rick the Ruler baby....You get a story with every track..Not only do you hear him but he makes you SEE what he is rapping about.... Versastyle 07-16-2007, 05:10 PM Waynes metaphors are mediocre compared to Chamillionaires. The way Chamillion says things makes you think and go "ohhh yeeeaaah" as you smile and think about it again. $ LegenD $ 07-16-2007, 06:37 PM im going with cham.....mixtape messiah baby all day......... RAESAAD 07-16-2007, 06:57 PM I like Cham better but Wayne has grown on me alot lately......mostly because eberything else sucks so bad. I saw a Keith Murray Ft Tyrese vid today while flippin thru the channels and while I did'nt like the song much I listened to Murrays verses and have to say he is pretty nice and I miss rappers flowing like that with the good content and not a bunch of mumbo jumbo. It brought me back for a brief minute is all I'm saying. The Raging Bull 07-16-2007, 07:59 PM I prefer Wayne to be honest. I love his flow. Smokin' 07-16-2007, 08:00 PM Wayne definitely but both are a couple of the very few good artists from the South. Wayne has come a long way...remember his verse/voice on Back Dat Azz Up, lol DeltaSigChi4 07-17-2007, 03:38 AM Where's the option for neither? :ugh: :cop: E FUMIN 88 07-17-2007, 07:49 AM I THINK THEY ARE BOTH EXTREAMLY WEAK ASS RAPPERS BUT THATS PROBLY BECAUSE I ONLY LISTEN TO THE BEST  jack_the_rippuh 07-17-2007, 08:07 AM Waynes metaphors are mediocre compared to Chamillionaires. The way Chamillion says things makes you think and go "ohhh yeeeaaah" as you smile and think about it again. So who's better? ROSEWOOD 07-17-2007, 01:41 PM I THINK THEY ARE BOTH EXTREAMLY WEAK ASS RAPPERS BUT THATS PROBLY BECAUSE I ONLY LISTEN TO THE BEST  And Big Pun is the best..Give me a break playa... MetalVomit 07-17-2007, 02:01 PM You have Big Pun in your avatar.Hes more garbage then this guy=http://www.jedidjah.dds.nl/Alphabet/SesameO/Oscar.jpg If Pun was from the south, would you say the same? neils7147933 07-17-2007, 05:27 PM If Pun was from the south, would you say the same? If Pun had been from the south, he would revere him the same as the West does Pac and the East does Big Pun lyrically > any Southern artist Versastyle 07-17-2007, 08:28 PM If Pun was from the south, would you say the same? Yeah.Believe it or not.I dont like alot of ppl from the south. I really dont even like Z-ro. Dont assume because they're from a region that Im going to be totally biased. Like you,I dont like alot of ppl from a certain region. Not because they're from the region but because Im not into there music. GET IT RIGHT Versastyle 07-17-2007, 08:30 PM If Pun had been from the south, he would revere him the same as the West does Pac and the East does Big Pun lyrically > any Southern artist Thats why we all have opinions. Even Im not that STUPID to seriously believe 1 rapper is better then all of the souths rappers. You havnt even probably heard a quarter of some of the souths artist. -Antonio- 07-17-2007, 08:56 PM I think guys like Wayne, Cham, and T.I. get a bad wrap for being from the south because of how bad some of the mainstream guys are (Joc, Jeezy) They are actually really talented. ROSEWOOD 07-17-2007, 09:36 PM If Pun had been from the south, he would revere him the same as the West does Pac and the East does Big Pun lyrically > any Southern artist Neils...Pun can't even touch Cham.... Pun wasn't **** if you ask me..He die then people want to praise him... Smokin' 07-17-2007, 09:51 PM I think guys like Wayne, Cham, and T.I. get a bad wrap for being from the south because of how bad some of the mainstream guys are (Joc, Jeezy) They are actually really talented. I don't find TI all that talented and Jeezy is the ****..... I honestly don't know what to think of Wayne, man. I know he's a queer and all that, his voice ****in pisses me off, all he talks about is money and coke, he's a *****... but I still check for all his music. As for Pun. He is definitely a beast of an emcee but it's laughable when people put him in the top 10, same with Big L. They both didn't put out much material and at least Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous was a classic while Capital Punishment was not. MetalVomit 07-17-2007, 09:56 PM Neils...Pun can't even touch Cham.... Pun wasn't **** if you ask me..He die then people want to praise him... Actually, people praised him when he dropped his ridiculous first album. Smokin' 07-17-2007, 09:57 PM Actually, people praised him when he dropped his ridiculous first album. Would you call it a classic? MetalVomit 07-17-2007, 09:57 PM Like you,I dont like alot of ppl from a certain region. Not because they're from the region but because Im not into there music. GET IT RIGHT What in the **** are you even talking about? Smokin' 07-17-2007, 10:01 PM What in the **** are you even talking about? I'm trying to decipher that, too. I think what he means is he likes music from everywhere, not just the south, but he just so happens to hate a lot of music from the east coast. MetalVomit 07-17-2007, 10:03 PM I'm trying to decipher that, too. I think what he means is he likes music from everywhere, not just the south, but he just so happens to hate a lot of music from the east coast. I don't hate on the south, I hate on the artists that I've listened to and didnt like their music. He must be getting it confused. MetalVomit 07-17-2007, 10:34 PM Whatev. Do you like Jeezy? Negative. I've downloaded both his albums, and I only kept one song. Smokin' 07-17-2007, 10:35 PM Negative. I've downloaded both his albums, and I only kept one song. C'mon man...doesn't it seem to you that he's one of the few REAL guys in hip hop who lives what he talks about. Plus his beats are hawt. MetalVomit 07-17-2007, 10:38 PM C'mon man...doesn't it seem to you that he's one of the few REAL guys in hip hop who lives what he talks about. Plus his beats are hawt. He does pick some nice beats, but the only song of his that I like is "Dreamin'". neils7147933 07-17-2007, 11:37 PM I actually preferred Pun's "Yeeahhh Baby" to "Capital Punishment" ROSEWOOD 07-18-2007, 12:04 PM Actually, people praised him when he dropped his ridiculous first album. Who...the world or cats from NY...He got a little radio play, that's about it..nothing more, nothing less ROSEWOOD 07-18-2007, 12:09 PM I don't hate on the south, I hate on the artists that I've listened to and didnt like their music. GHandz, according to that mixtape you uploaded on the other thread, you taste in music is suspect...We make Music for the people down here....bottomline..whether you like it or not...Yall from NY hate so hard on the south that Mims was dang near ran out of town for him album...because he sounded like he was from the south.....Now that's bad... That mix I uploaded is suspect? It's underground hip hop, what's suspect about it? For one, I'm not from NY, secondly, there are artists from New York, Boston, California, New Jersey, Philadelphia, CANADA, Houston (i think that's where Devin is from, isnt it?), Minnesota, Detroit, and Kansas City. Now, that's North, South, East and West. What's suspect about that? Because you arent familiar with the artists, or because not enough are from the south? I also wanted to add a Cunninlynguists song featuring Cee-Lo. Both of whom are from the south, but i ran out of disc space. the mix was made to fit a blank cd. LOLORSKATES 07-18-2007, 03:52 PM Lil Wayne is better IMO, but these two artists and of course a few others is what makes the South so strong. Yup. It wasn't too hot...I listed to it while I was studying.. It's underground hip hop, what's suspect about it? It is indeed underground. You have to like that kind/style of music in order to like it..I love MUSIC, don't get me wrong.. For one, I'm not from NY - My Bad..., secondly, there are artists from New York, Boston, California, New Jersey, Philadelphia, CANADA, Houston (i think that's where Devin is from, isnt it?), Minnesota, Detroit, and Kansas City. - Most of those artist sound the same..Devin is from here but he ain't holdin no weight at all..He is sometiming but overall he is ok in my book.. Now, that's North, South, East and West. - True What's suspect about that? Its diverse but it not jammin.. Because you arent familiar with the artists, or because not enough are from the south? Maybe....I'm not to sure.. I also wanted to add a Cunninlynguists song featuring Cee-Lo. Both of whom are from the south, but i ran out of disc space. the mix was made to fit a blank cd. - Cee-lo is the man...That other cat I'm unfamiliar with MetalVomit 07-18-2007, 08:28 PM For one, I'm not from NY - My Bad..., secondly, there are artists from New York, Boston, California, New Jersey, Philadelphia, CANADA, Houston (i think that's where Devin is from, isnt it?), Minnesota, Detroit, and Kansas City. - Most of those artist sound the same.. How is that? Did you even listen to it? or did you skim through the first few seconds of each song? that's a rather diverse mix there, whether you consider it good or not, "most of those artist" surely do not "sound the same".
