Officially Red Gone Wild same old Doc spittin relentless. He really hasn't lost much lyrically. And the album as a whole was good. After that if that Ear Drum leak is Kweli's actual album then that is the best album of the year so far hands down.

red gone wild. red showed his versatility and seems to be able to snap on any kind of beat, rhythm, or style.

yet another reason why red is a superior rapper to the **** we are left with now.

of course, that does sound a lot like when people talk about boxing. short sighted people always think the boxing was better when they were growing up - as they were more impressionable then. like saying bruno was a great fighter! gimme a ****ing break with that ****!

double up - r kelly. another classic.
R. Kelly doesn't put much effort into lyrics, though does he? LOL - that song "The Zoo" with the monkey sounds in the background while he does the "U REmind me of my jeep" formula but moved into the animal kingdom...

If R. Kelly concentrated on the music and let someone else do lyrics he'd be much stronger. Double Up is much weaker than, say, 12-Play, because now he's 'trying to be down' and the way he sings/raps doesn't always fit the content of the songs

havent heard the bolded. gonna have to get on that. "I'll Sleep When You're Dead" should be in there. I expected Aesop Rock's album to be as good, if not better than "Fast Cars, Danger, Fire and Knives", but it's not. "None Shall Pass" and "Coffee" are crazy songs though.

i wasnt a big fan of that one, thats that el-p joint right?

wow! so many junk favorites listed here. well, it is merely opinions. just remember, my opinion holds more weight than yours!

two of my favorites:

Rap-Murr-Phobia (The Fear Of Real Hip-Hop)

and

Red Gone Wild (Thee Album)

everything else(that i've heard) was just plain average or worse.

just how the **** is redman's red gone wild not in every single person's top three? and how many people even heard murray's newest ****? you people should be ashamed. deeply ashamed. you bring dishonor to your families!

I've been campaigning Murray for album of the year. Have raved about Red Gone Wild too.
