seldom is actually quite a ways bigger than ol Franco. Franco is actually shorter than me by a couple of inches.

That's coz the two shots there show me at the beginning of the movement. There's one pic where I've completed the lift, but it was only 140kg and not 180.

Man I am glad I don't workout in gyms anymore. I litterally wear rags in my home gym to workout. No fashion consciousness involved when I lift!:lol2:

I like to keep my joints warm - I ****ed myself up a fair bit when I first started, and if my shoulder gets cold, or the wind blows on it, I start to ache, it's a *****.

And I am not the strongest there pound for pound.

I'm not really fashion conscious either, that hat is old and ****ty, those pants I bought AGES ago, the top I stole from my dad cause it's apiece of ****. The shoes are cool tho, I got them ages ago - anyone remember the Brazilian Soccer Team advert in the Airport? Those are the same shoes as I'm wearing :)

And yeah I know what you mean keeping your joints warm and stuff. I am the same size as you except fatter, builter and more polish looking, and they are always ****ed in some way or another. I keep my rest periods short between sets even if this inhibits recovery for strength just to stay warm.

erm...well since we use the metric system, we round our our numbers to 5, 10, 20, 25 kgs - so 20kg would be the closes at 44lb.

Shadow, just FYI, those were 20 kg (44lbs) solid metal plates we were using. They look small but they're bloody heavy.
