I was curious if any of you guys did. I wanted to see how good they are. Im going to be fighting soon and I need to lose some weight. My trainer said it works good cause you will stop eating alot of your normal foods so much. Just curious though.

I used to use Myoplex, way back when. I dunno if they even make it anymore.

Be careful, a lot of the ones I see these days have all kinds of latest-and-greatest stuff in them -- creatine, NO2, ginseng, guarana -- if you can find one that's just protein, I'd recommend that. Although, it's cheaper and just as effective to make the shake (http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2439710&postcount=6) I recommend, and just take vitamins.

i make my own but if you want a MRP try biotests metablic drive complete or ASTs vyo pro... swap 2 meals a day to these shakes & you should drop a few kgs. I know some wrestlers who've gotten on liquid diets while they're training partners sweated their balls off in saunas. Im personally going to jump on the Velocity Diet when all my clubs close over xmas...

I use meal replacements simply because I lift weights early in the morning and don't have time to make breakfast, and don't want to work out on an empty stomach. They taste pretty good if you mix them with milk.

be careful with full cream milk, it can end up having more cals than the meal you're trying to replace it with - also, make sure you get a casein based shake so ist released slowly & you wont get hungry in an hour...

Myoplex is the real deal.
EAS still has to make it.

When I was playing basketball our University gave us free Myoplex to use. I was using it add mass though.

After eating a full meal I would down a packet of myoplex. It worked as I went up to around 230 while still being pretty low in body fat.

I'd reconmend a protein shake instead, as the meal replacements i've had tasted like ****. You can get some really nice tasting protein shakes nowaday, i use reflex instant whey protein in strawberry flavour and it's loverly. Plus it's only 100 kcal without the milk so with skimmed milk it still doesnt add any kcal to your diet. Also because it's protein it'll help your muscles recover from your workouts so as well as helping you loose weight it'll helpyou recover so your gona kill 2 birds with one stone.

Yeah, i take meal replacements.

I replace the meal i want to eat, which is usually a pizza and 3 or 4 cans of stella and replace it with a tuna sandwhich and an apple and cry all night about it. haha
