View Full Version : dreams/nightmares
* FeistyWench * 07-09-2007, 11:22 PM anyone have reoccuring dreams or nightmares?
since i was around 4 or 5 years old, I have had dreams that I cacn fly. It's kinda like a peter pan fly but i can;t get higher thatn tree tops for some reason. sometimes these dreams are cool and sometime they are nightmare-ish like someone is chasing me and trying to kill me. the cool thing is that i always know that i am dreaming when someone tries to kill me. like if someone is trying to drown me, i tell myself i can breath under water because it is only a dream.
anyone have a dream that they did something that they would never actually do and are too embarrassed to even talk about the dream? you just wake up wondering wtf that was all about?
yeah, me neither. lol! :D
Dr.Depravity 07-09-2007, 11:36 PM Your not one of those crazy gals who can control their dreams are ya?
I haven't had a flying dream for a long time. I used to have like an in-between falling / flying dream where I was falling but could sort of glide my way to a rooftop or something.
Ever have a dream where, in your dream you say something funny, and wake up later and laugh about it? I have, does that mean I'm completely full of **** or something?

yes, i can usually control my dreams.
in my flying dreams, i kinda float/glide too, but never too high.

Dirt E Gomez 07-10-2007, 01:39 AM When I was younger I had a reocurring dream that plagued me every month or so for about 3 years. It was essentially as if a nuclear war had occurred and everything was in black/white... it was always dead silent except the gravel under my feat as I walked around. Nothing ever really happened but it would always wake me up in a panic'd sweat.
phallus 07-10-2007, 01:43 AM i have recurring dream, it's about this cute little brown haired girl i knew in grade 3 in florida and a big tree in our school's field

I have the flying dreams as well, it's soooooo cool. Also mostly I can controll the dream also cool. There's a but though, sometimes i'll be being chased by something that I can't see but I know it's something too horrible to imagine and when I try to fly away I find the ability to fly has deserted me OR the thing that is chasing me can ALSO fly neither of these are good and pretty scary:)

that would have freaked me out...
i had zombie dreams for quite a while in the 80s. i blame it on the movies.
Sin City 07-11-2007, 02:48 PM I used to have a dream where I would open my eyes and I would be in the baketball court in between the four buildings of my apartments. It would be real foggy and hazey and it looked like it just had rained [kind of like silent hill type].. It wasn't night time but it was real early and the whole place was vacant and I was by myself. I would walk down the pathway leading twards the road and right as I got by the dumpster I turn around and saw this man with a trench coat long hair and boots powering walking my way. He had one hand in his coat and I would see him and get scared and stop breathing couldn't move at all like if I was in shock or someone pressed pause on me, as he got closer he would take his hand out of his coat and there would be this big military knife and he would stab me in the stomach and at that point I would wake up... I had this dream sometimes every month, sometimes I wouldn't dream about it and 4 or 5 months later I would have it again..
I have a lot of crazy ones, lots of funny ones too.
eazy_mas 07-15-2007, 09:43 AM I never though anyone could control there dream?
But i remeber once i was electricled in my dream for real. my body sometimes shake as if i got a shock.
Not tell nightmares because sometimes could be turn true.
another thing about dream that if you remeber what you dreamt then some of the thing mean something. like if you dream a cat it probably someone in you life who is sneaky and many other stuff.

For someone who has been posting for over 2 years you would think you would learn a few tips on spelling and/or grammar. On another note, no. If you dream of a cat that does not mean someone in your life is sneaky. Yes, inside dreams different things can and most likely are used as symbols for your unconscious mind to talk with your conscious mind, but for something like a cat to symbolize an entire generalized idea of a sneaky person is just stupid. Why not see the sneaky person instead of the cat? If you wanna look at it through Freud, the cat probably means your a closet homosexual looking for some fun.. deep in the night.. tra la la mmmm your ding ding dong.

well **** me as if i writing to a report or compay CEO. I just learning to write english didnt have proper training in grammer.
I have a book which explains about dream and some of the things happen it not like a dream. There is a possiablity that might be. Because if you know some of the prediction or happenign in you life comes in dreams.
If you dont remeber it then it no use but if you could remeber it sharply what happen then there is something to it.
and i wasnt fan of Freud anyway.
Flying dreams are quite common for me too and are amongst some of the most memorable (and enjoyable) dreams that I can remember having, and I have also had them as far back as I can remember. I tend to look forward to them actually, but that may be entirely because I have total control over my ability to fly in my dreams, although my flying technique is not much more than me swimming (breast stroke) through the air at a rather slowish pace. I can also get up there quite high in them too.

Lucid dreaming is great. Can take a while to master and walking/movement can be slow and weary, but it is still fun regardless.

I have done this a few times. Lucid dreaming is the best. They actually teach young children ( from birth ) how to achieve and control lucid dreams in various Indian tribes.
LIU KANG 07-22-2007, 12:40 PM I dream about tornados all the time. It's always more then 1 come towards me. Maybe it's like stresses in my life, feeling like I can control them. :dunno:
I also have dreams that come true, mainly people being pregnant, what they have and what the baby look's like. Sometimes the month they get pregnant. I've told 2 people before they even got pregnant that they were gonna be on this month and it's a ____. It's freaky seriously. I don't tell many people cause I don't want them to think I'm a freak. Then I have those people that say "dream something about me!".. uh like I can control it :ugh:
I knew I was going to be pregnant before each time I was, I knew what it was and what they looked like. Even dreamed I had a c-section and never planned to have it at all, never even read up on that cause I thought I wouldn't need it. :pat:
I've had about 4 dreams lately that I have another girl, she's alittle darker skinned then my kids and had curly hair.

I see these *****es in my sleep a lot. :mangler:
