PRIDE Fighting Championships: What do you think about your fight in the PRIDE 24 with Dan Henderson?
Antonio Nogueira: I was able to try a lot of techniques and it was a fight with a lot of action. His defense was really great and that's why it was an entertaining fight. I felt that I led the fight from beginning to end.
PRIDE: How's your (broken) left pinky finger?
Nogueira: It's better now.
PRIDE: Emelianenko Fedor will be your opponent for PRIDE 25. This will be your first title defense. How do you feel about that?
Nogueira: I think it will be a very difficult fight. I'm training even harder than usual now. I've got confidence in my training at everyone at Brazilian Top Team is supporting me. My condition is also really good. I've also improved in some technical aspects. I hope I can show you some of my new techniques in this match.
PRIDE: What's your impression of Fedor?
Nogueira: Very strong and very technical. He's very aggressive and his throws and ground work is good. He'll be a tough opponent.
PRIDE: Fedor has never lost by Ippon in RINGS or in PRIDE. Do you think that you can submit him?
Nogueira: I'm confident that I can.
PRIDE: Do you feel any pressure since this is a title defense bout?
Nogueira: There's no mistake. This is a very important fight. But, for me, all fights are very important.
PRIDE: What do you think will be your key to victory this time?
Nogueira: There's only one answer to that. Continuous attacks.
PRIDE: Who would you like to fight in 2003 after this fight?
Nogueira: I want to fight Yoshida. That's my goal for 2003.
PRIDE: Bob Sapp has said that his goal for 2003 is to take the Heavyweight Championship away from Nogueira. What do you think about that?
Nogueira: He thought he was going to beat me when I fought him in Dynamite but he couldn't win. Even if we fight again, the result will be the same. He can't beat me.
PRIDE: You feel confident you could beat him if you fought again?
Nogueira: Of course.
PRIDE: Please give us a message for your fans.
Nogueira: 2003 will be the same as last year. I want to give you very high level matches because I want you all to have a great time.
