whats your thoughts on the ice man. do you think he can beat rampage or will ever beat him. or do you think hes shot and to old?

It's not that he's done, I actually feel he has about 3 more quality years if he will slow down. The late nights have played a huge role in him slowing down in previous fights that have lasted into the 3rd rd or so, he's always been able to catch his opponent with one of those bricks he calls hands. Chuck has also stopped fighting per say, and he is a pure counter puncher to a one shot puncher. He has gotten so used to doing a feint, or just timing one of those looping overhand rights. If you watch his early fights like in the IVC and mid early UFC around Bustamante and Vitor he'd throw more combo's he'd use leg kicks to set up shots, he'd pummel. He must go back to his old form for him to be champ again.

As my favorite fighter I couldn't bet against him and wouldn't say pre fight, but some styles just beat other styles and Rampage has the style that will **** Chuck up 70% of the times they fight. His striking defense is some of the most superior I've seen in boxing or mma, he blocks punches beautifully. I hate this match up for him.

Just because you haven't beat somebody doesn't mean that you can't, and vice versa.

I disagree. You can't fairly view Silva's 2 losses yet. Cro Cop, I don't remember him being the favorite, I know I was picking Cro Cop to win and then get beat by Barnett. Henderson is so underrated at 205 at the moment is crazy. He will show how all the doubters after he beats Rampage.

Now Chuck vs. Silva, 2 of my favorite fighters, I know who'll win but I'm not saying yet, still too early.

Fan or not shouldn't play a role when picking a winner.

This is one of the most intriging match ups possible. I've picked Chuck since the time this fight was first anonunced and I still do. I was wanting him to fight Wandy insteady of Page because of the style factor. Wandy aggressive nature is going to be his undoing here.

I give it a 60% chance.

Now Chuck could get caught cause he has a tendency to freeze up for a split second when somebody bull rushes him, he then back pedals and then most of the time makes them pay. Silva isn't your typical fighter even one that could be a little on the down slope. I can't really pick a "underdog" in this fight one way or the other.

Rampage will always beat him... just like how Chuck will always beat ortiz

I think Chuck needs to change up his training. He is needs to evolve cause if he fights Rampage for a rematch and brings that same style into the Octagon he will get knocked out again!
