Mijares is more polished than Donaire... he has a good combinations with more pop on his punches and lateral movements.

bro, i think one of the reasons why arce hadn't been successful in his agression (during their match) was bec. mijares' punches had power at napapahinto sya dito pag tinatamaan, even in his jabs (one of the best i've seen) ay may lakas din.

Panoorin mo sa higher quality na video....yung pagtulo nang dugo kitang kita....yung pagbagsak nang ulo sa canvass and medyo mahirap makita pero alam ko talsik yun.

Good win for Donaire. Vic Darchinyan is an overrated-over hyped fundamentally flawed boxer in my opinion. All it takes is one good boxer to expose his weakness...and that is his defense.

A thought occurs: Darchinyan just might be getting a little bit bored with this type of fight, one in which he is the proverbial prohibitive favourite, and there could be a possibility that a focused and ready Donaire is catching him at the right time.

So, although I expect Darchinyan to catch up with Donaire some time around the ninth or 10th round, I do give the Filipino a chance, if a slim one.

yeah.. "he thought wrong!" as far as the fight goes Darchinyan is "catching" Nonito in all 5 rounds before the match ended all 3 judges favored Nonito.
