The Jake 03-07-2003, 11:16 AM Your thread is gay and boring. - The Jake The Jake 03-07-2003, 11:21 AM Hi. - The Jake GhosT^x0 03-07-2003, 11:21 AM Solipsist. Pick it up. Waylander recommended it to me. It's by far one of the best reads I've put time into within the last couple years. GhosT^x0 03-07-2003, 11:24 AM Also.... See A Grown Man Cry... Now Watch Him Die. Henry wrote this book after his best friend James was murdered. Very saddening. A real expression of pain and loss. Don't read it unless you wanna be pissed or upset, or empathise with someone who perpetually is. The Jake 03-07-2003, 11:26 AM On the subject of perpetually pissed off characters, I'm busy reading 'The Conan Chronicles' by Robert Jordan (author of the Wheels of Time series). I need a break from serious reads after 3 months of business and real estate books. On the list to buy/borrow/read is: "Science and Practice of Strength Training" by Vladimir Zatsiorsky - apparently one of the best strength coaches in the world. Redefines powerlifting. and quite possibly: "Supertraining 2003 sixth edition" by Mel C Still, PhD You mean Solipsist (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1880985594/026-0808930-7914037)? - The Jake handjobs4dollars 03-07-2003, 11:29 AM I'm busy reading. learning mechanical desktop. release 6, a process-based approach. The Jake 03-07-2003, 11:30 AM Sounds like fun reading. Much like my Cisco Certified Network Professional books which I haven't touched in a year.... - The Jake handjobs4dollars 03-07-2003, 11:32 AM http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/item.asp?Catalog=Books&Section=Books&Cat=&Lang=en&Item=978068485708&mscssid=LGBFDA196EC98P8R80WFPTPF3M0V9NF9&WSID=11030E75E165281C41C598BE688E5BC2728E3007 here's a good one. The Golden Bear 03-07-2003, 07:29 PM Well Allison, I would suggest "Now Watch Him Die." and "See a grown man cry." But my Bro "Liked High Adventures in the Great Outdoors." Dave, my man, James was not the name of Rollins friend... It was Joe. Joe Cole. And i got Joe Coles book, its good and funny - its basicly a journal. hope these help Allison. ruffneck119 03-07-2003, 07:43 PM There are trees when looking for the white rabit. But how many legs does ice cream have? Well you can find out if you drink soda but Smokey the Bear ate the Easter Rabit. You can't say chicken ****er in front of the master! |
